I google searched for some side brackets for mounting a race seat for a race car and came across a pair at this website for $43 and free shipping. Pretty good deal so I clicked it, completed the order, sent my money.
30mins later I receive an email from Bill at www.Tuner-Store.com telling me there had been a mistake, that item was meant to be $65 and free shipping. Then he asked me to let him know if I wanted to go ahead with the order. But I already completed the order and paid you Bill?
A few emails went back and forth where I urged Bill to honour the price they listed the item at and reminded him I had already paid. This was a done deal. Not so in Bill's mind. He then referred me to their "privacy policy" (in his words, but in actuality, their return policy page) and a couple of paragraphs stating they can change prices if they feel there has been a price listing mistake. And another paragraph saying sales are not final even if paid, "tuner-store.com reserves the right to decline any sale for any reason". That's nice of them.
After Bill's refusal to fulfil the order I'd paid, I told him to give me my money back. I don't want a company that operates like this, all for the sake of $22 I might add, getting a single penny from me.
If you think this business practice is fine, feel free to go ahead and ignore this review. If you think it's not fine of them to act this way, then you're welcome for the heads up.
They also have a crappy return policy for "restocking fees". It's 2016, Bill.
