Had to call customer service to have one of three Doxo accounts removed because this bill varies from month to month and I could not get Doxo and this particular utility bill to synchronize with the due date and amount owed. Doxo seems to have a need for an exact reoccurring monthly amount or the system just doesn't know what to do. I received late and cut off notices from this utility company. I have paid about $18.00 in late fees over the past 3 months. (stamps are cheaper, keep reading) (Never had this issue in 30 years) Tried to delete the account myself but the Doxo dashboard wouldn't allow this as it stated that there is a pending due date for this utility bill. (Don't care. I should be in charge here. If I want to delete the account I should be able to) Called customer service and the representative removed this particular account for me... Or So I Thought. A few days later when I tried to login to Doxo it did not recognize my login credentials and indicated that the entire account no longer exists. (WOW this is like writing papers checks, addressing envelopes and then finding out you don't have any stamps to mail them anyway) I had other utility bills registered for payment through Doxo. It was never my intention to delete the entire Doxo account, just this one utility providers account. Called customer service again. And this was almost impossible to contact customer service since I no longer had an account with Doxo. But I, a boomer, found a way to get through. Still not sure where I found the number and how I managed to get through to customer service since I no longer had an account, but I did. Anyway, the customer service rep. Advised that the account would be reinstated within 24 to 48 hours. It's been more than a week. When I attempt to login I am advised that the account does not exist. So i have other utility bills that are paid through the Doxo account that obviously won't be getting paid as the account no longer exists. When I login to these utility companies websites to pay their bill I am informed that I already have a Doxo account associated with the utility company and to login to Doxo to review and pay my bill. Well, I can't login to Doxo to review and pay my bill because Doxo deleted my account. I was forced to do this... Dad, you boomer, quit wasting time writing paper checks, addressing envelopes and spending money on stamps, the children would say. This way is so much easier the children would promise. I have more time invested in dealing with this Doxo account than I would have in two years of writing paper checks, addressing envelopes and driving to the post office to mail the bills. Give me back my paper checks, envelopes and stamps!

Tip for consumers:
Stick with paper checks, envelopes and stamps to pay monthly bills.

They are not associated with your bill companies and tack on extra fees that you otherwise don't...
