Our family had dinner yesterday evening and were impressed. The wait staff was attentive, the atmosphere was beautiful, and our server was knowledgeable and friendly. This was the best Brazilian steakhouse ever. The food was cooked well, came out frequently, and the food bar was beautifully arranged.
We will be returning.
These stories are similar to bad reviews I ignored about a martial arts program we got involved with. I should have paid attention to the reviews but wanted to give the business the benefit of the doubt. The true colors always show.

An ethical business would refund what was unused, and send the confirmation of cancelation emails. Not just keep the funds and refer you back to the policy.
What about the people who tried to contact them via email? And phone calls.

You have too many bad reviews in too recent a time frame.
If a policy isn't working, you need to change it... well it's working for your bottom line---but people will find out about you.
Reputations precede themselves.
