“Use of racial slurs”

If you've ever watched Green Acres very many shows refer to Mexican people as wetbacks it seems to be no different than calling a black man a $#*! or an Italian person a wapp or an Asian person at Jap and so on and so on. Doesn't anybody really watch these shows and listen to what's being said?
