I have an addiction for Old Navy which is why I'm so broke! Everything I wear is mostly Old Navy even though they are pretty expensive. I know they have their little sales every season but you're still gonna be paying at least $50 for just two pieces of clothing. That includes the veterans and student discounts added in. If you want to spend less than $20 don't expect to get much. You'd be lucky just to buy their candies and knick knacks at the front checkout line. However, I have a certain style I like and Old Navy is the only place that has clothes I genuinely like.
Old Navy may not be for everyone especially with their ridiculous prices. Gap isn't any better.

I bought a couple of clothes and accessories from this site. Surprisingly I received all of my packages earlier than I expected. I have only been dissatisfied once which was when they sent me the wrong color to an eye shadow I bought. I ended up giving it to my sister because I disliked the color but was too lazy to return it. Their sizes run small so you have to order at least a size up. DO NOT BUY THE PURSES OR HANDBAGS! They may look cute in the photographs but they're actually very cheap looking and use flimsy material. Many of the pictures consumers posted were tragic. Some things you should avoid to buy such as earphones, purses, makeup, and electronic accessories. Most of them break within a week or two. Stick to simple shirts and dresses.

  • Tinder

I decided to give Tinder a try after hearing good reviews but so far it hasn't been a good experience. Unlike most dating sites, this one is basically all about looks. You do not get any information on their personality or hobbies. For me, I like to know about a guy's religion, political stance, hobbies, expectations, what they're looking for, etc. I would like to understand a little bit about someone before wasting my time talking to a guy who doesn't have the same intentions as me.
I also realized that a lot of guys swipe right to every girl just to increase their chances of getting matches. This can be frustrating because when you message them, they do not reply. Being on the site, I've gotten about 10 or 11 matches. Only one guy messaged me first and when I replied back, he never responded. The rest of the time, I was the one putting in all the effort sending messages first and I didn't get any responses. I try to be open to most guys I see. I prefer slim or fit guys, but even then, I swiped right to men who were overweight. There was one incident where I messaged a guy who was a little big and after I sent the message, he unmatched me. (Unmatching happens a lot.)
I just found it laughable how guys who weren't the best looking would unmatch me or block me if they did not think I was worthy of talking to them.
Don't expect to get many matches unless you're a blond, blue eyed model. That goes for men and women. People are a lot more picky on Tinder. Even ugly people expect you to look good.
I also hate how Tinder makes you use Facebook to make an account. Not everyone uses Facebook so those people are at a huge disadvantage.
I will either find a new site or give up on online dating.

Although the membership was pricey, I actually paid for it so I could receive messages and matches. Unfortunately, I don't think the membership fee they charge is worth it because the amount of engagement your profile receives is very very low, or if none at all. You will rarely get messages, likes, and views on Christian Mingle. I'm guessing it's because most people don't pay for the membership, which is too expensive!

I wish I could give this site no stars. The moderators were unprofessional, never warned users that they were shutting everyone's accounts down. They never kicked off the trolls and bigots. People were constantly spamming the site with stupid questions just so they could be on top of the leaderboard and banned members kept coming back posting everything from porn to cell phone deal ads. People were constantly being bullied and threatened. The moderators never responded to users for anything. Lots of perverts hitting on young women and minors. I had random users messaging me about how they were in love with me and wanted to meet up. Trolls made duplicate accounts of other users they hated.
Sodahead made it too easy for people to sign up. Many people took advantage of that. From what I heard, you could even make up a fake email address and still be able to sign up successfully. No IP address tracking so people were able to continue to produce accounts.

I signed up for this website thinking it was just a regular dating site. I had no idea it was a secretive club for arrogant people to feel good about themselves. When you first sign up, current members rate your looks to decide whether you should stay or not. If you have on a few extra pounds, don't even think about it. They'll tear you up and judge you. I even heard that you can get kicked off the site if you add on a couple of pounds over time. I don't recommend this site to anyone who is down to earth or level headed.
If you're so "hot" why do you need to sign up for an exclusive online dating site? Obviously something is wrong with you.
I am not the type to play the race card, but most of the users are Hollywood Barbies and Kens. If you are black, don't expect to even get in unless you dress provocative and have European looks.
When I found out how discriminatory this site was. I deleted my account ASAP.
I guess I should have researched the site first before making an account, because I assumed the name was a name and didn't mean anything.
Not only that, but once you get in you gotta pay for a membership. Haha! These people are unbelievable. Screw this website.

  • Plenty of Fish

I decided to try POF to possibly start a serious relationship. Bad idea! Most of the guys on there are looking for a one night stand. A lot of the messages I got were from horny guys asking if I wanted "D" pics and trying to meet up for sex. I even wrote on my profile that I'm not interested in sex until marriage, but I guess they think I'll make an exception for them. I even got blocked by a guy because I told him I wasn't going to do foreplay with him. Even when you look at their bios most of the guys say they're not looking to commit. That's because they just wanna sleep with you! There were even men looking for women to have threesomes with. The rest of the profiles that sound too good to be true, usually are.
