Seriously the WORST experience I have had with online shopping. I ordered a book from them on 12/19/12 I paid extra for 2nd day shipping to be sure the item would be delivered prior to Christmas. Frys proceeded to ship me the item on 12/20/12. I received the book in a timely manner HOWEVER, the book I received looked like it had been drug on the floor on both the front and back and was permanently curled up like a newspaper would be to smack a spider. Needless to say I was not happy that someone actually put this sad looking book in a package to ship to me. I called their customer service number and was placed on hold several times and went back and forth with them until they finally agreed to refund the item and the shipping(approximately 2 hrs and only after threatening to dispute the charges with my card company). On 12/28/12 I called them again because they had not sent me confirmation of the return or a return label. On this call I was told that there was going to be no refund of the shipping as previously agreed. Once again it was a very long phone call approximately an hour in which they refused until finally agreeing to give me the full refund after telling them that I had the previous call recorded in which they had agreed to give a full refund. They then told me that a shipping label would be send to my email later that day. Of course this did not happen. I made a call to them on 12/29/12 they took about another hour on the phone to finally come up with that it would be sent after the weekend. On this phone call they also informed me that I would not be able to get my money back unless it was postmarked by 15 days after my initial call(total BS seeing as they took their sweet time getting me the things I needed to make a return). Luckily I got the shipping label on 12/31/12 sent the item back on 1/2/13 they received it on 1/4/13, once again without any confirmation from Fry's I called them on 1/6/13 they could not give me any information at that time other than "It should be processed soon". Thankfully on 1/8/13 they sent an email saying I would be refunded the money and FINALLY on 1/10/13 it was credited back to my account. My point is they KNOWINGLY sent me a bad product and then lied to me and told me that I would be refunded all my money, rescinded that until I said I had proof they agreed and then they tried to wait long enough before sending a return shipping label to make it impossible for me to return the item within the 15 days. All this for a BOOK, BEWARE if you buy an electronic item from them! If it doesn't work you are out of luck unless you have 5+ hours of time to spend on the phone and even then you may not be as lucky! DO NOT BUY FROM FRY'S! THEY WILL SCAM YOU!
