When first approached with the idea behind Trunited, I was intrigued. But I was sorrily mistaken. They clearly subscribe to the "over promise and under deliver" philosophy of doing business.

I have placed two orders. The first was a "two-day" shipping order and the second was a 5-7 day order. Please note that they warehouse is literally 15 miles from my house in Colorado. The first order didn't arrive until two weeks after the order. I understand that delays happen, but there was absolutely ZERO communication from Trunited on this! That, to me, is inexcusable. Only after my repeated inquiries and those from someone "up the chain" did I get some answers(excuses really).

After giving them the benefit of the doubt and placing my second order roughly two months later, I placed my second order. Order was placed on March 12 and as of March 27, still no sign of my 5-7 day delivery. And, after three inquiries about the status, nothing but crickets from Trunited.

Trunited makes the claim that they will "compete with Amazon" but don't be fooled the way I was. Trunited is just another company making claims that they fall woefully short of fulfilling.

You have been warned.

After reading my first review, the actual owner of the company reached out to me not only to apologize but to try and get the item to me at my vacation destination. I was completely blown away by the level of desire that the owner of Plumeria had to make this right! It isn't everyday that a company actually steps up to do the right thing and it was truly a breath of fresh air! While mistakes in any business will take place, Plumeria owned the mistake and did all that they could to rectify the situation. I will gladly do business with them anytime! Thanks Plumeria!

Plumeria does have some good items that are unique and well priced. That's the good news.

Here's the bad news...

This company has absolutely ZERO concept of what good customer service is. My order, placed in early February, arrived on time. My wife loved a couple of the two-piece swimsuits that I had picked out but needed an exchange on one of the tops. Simple right? Wrong.

After a 45 minute online chat to approve the exchange and explain the process, i was finally able to get the exchange started. 45 minutes for this? The reason is that they have no ability to field a phone call. I asked that they call me and the representative said "we don't have phones" to which I replied "everyone has a phone, you could call if you wanted to but are choosing not to."

I FedExed the exchange to plumeria and it was delivered to them on Feb 23rd, plenty of time to get the exchanged item to me by March 6th, when we needed it. I contacted plumeria on Feb 28th because I had not heard anything from them regarding the return. They had no idea where the package was! After trading emails (again because they don't believe in a customer service phone line), they did find the package. I explained to the person helping me, Joan, that we absolutely needed the exchange by March 6th. It took me asking her three times before she even addressed this aspect. She explained that I would have to pay $10 additional shipping, whatever, I just wanted the product on time and Joan said it would be here. I finally get a shipping notification and the package will not be here until a day or two after I expressly said I needed it.

I feel for the owner of Plumeria. In reading about her, she sounds like she wants to build a great company. It's too bad the people she has as the "face" of the company have zero desire to provide any kind of customer service! I hope, for the owner's sake, they fix this. With so many options for apparel, I will go to a company that value's their customer's and provides basic customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Don't count on the returns/exchanges at all!!!!

Just had my first experience with Hello Molly and they are truly a great company to deal with! Not only do they have a wide selection of very quality clothes, but their service is a breath of fresh air.

They have a phone number that is actually answered by a live person. I had to call twice with questions and both times the person on the other line was very helpful and had sincere appreciation for my business.

My order was in hand four days after ordering and the shipment came all the way from Australia to the US.

Definitely will be using this site again in the future and I would recommend it to anyone!
