This company was supposed to deliver a package from Urban Outfitters to my home. The package contained several items of men's clothing and was a gift. But the package never got here and there is NO EXCUSE for it. My house number is listed on my mailbox and the front of my home.
This company told UO that they had delivered it to my home, and they also had a photograph of the delivery. Anyone can see that photograph isn't my home, and the order form DID have my correct address on it - not a mistake. My security cameras capture every single vehicle that passes my house, and there was NOT a delivery vehicle that day except for a UPS truck at 10am. LaserShip wasn't even on my road at all!
Too bad Urban Outfitters didn't use UPS this time. They have always been reliable. This was the first time that LaserShip was scheduled to deliver anything to me and they failed miserably. They either didn't deliver it at all, or they delivered it to the wrong address. Either way, it's their failure, and they should take responsibility instead of lying about it. My address is EASY to find for anyone who is looking.
I wouldn't send anything through LaserShip, and I am going to request from all of the online companies that I order from that they not use them to deliver to my address.

Always ask that your online orders be shipped by a reputable company - not LaserShip

ServiceMaster of Cobb came and removed damaged floor and setup water mitigation machines. A large portion of our hardwood floor was ripped up and it was four weeks later before the job of replacing them was started because the flooring guy that they chose kept delaying the job. When he finally started working we moved into a hotel, where we stayed for a week.

Upon moving back in, we started seeing problems everywhere. The floor looked wavy and rough. It had been sanded so deep that the corners of the rooms were noticeably higher than the rest of the floor. There were huge globs of varnish in all the corners and places everywhere where varnish had dripped and been allowed to dry. There was trash and what looked like thousands of a man's beard hairs or dog hairs were embedded in the dried varnish. Molding had been knocked off the kitchen island and put back with thick yellow glue that had run down the side of the island. The floor man had tried to remove the glue with his pocket knife and cut a chunk out of the molding. The representative from ServiceMaster said it was possibly the worst job he had ever seen and the only way to fix the problems was to get a new flooring crew and start all over.
So, they moved us back out of the house and they brought in a new crew from "Company FLG"(not real name)

We were supposed to be able to move back into the home, along with our furniture in five days, but that was extended to seven because the floor had to be repaired and refinished twice due to problems. According to the "Company FLG" flooring specialist, the problems were caused by the floor being "at the end of its life" due to over-sanding. This floor was only 11 years old! And now it was at the "End Of Its Life!"

While they worked on the house, they had their lock box on the home from the first day that they began until the day they finished, so no one could enter the home except ServiceMaster's workers.

Within an hour of us moving back in, I noticed that the drawers and closets had been rummaged through. We had an old large glass pickle jar that we had been saving coins in for about 15 years, and there were only pennies left; all of the silver coins were gone. They had been stolen. It is impossible to estimate the value of this money, but it was a pretty good sum. Then I found that the new Nikon camera and case that my husband had gotten me for Christmas seven months earlier and that I kept in the top of my closet wasn't in its proper place. There was also a large whitish scratch on the black case that wasn't there before. Inside, one of the new lenses was dented and damaged so badly that it would no longer fit on the camera. There were black, greasy looking fingerprints all over my freshly painted walls and on my newly upholstered sofa. There were scratches on almost every single piece of wood furniture, including a new dining suite and an antique cherry heirloom china cabinet that I had asked them to be especially careful of. The five months-old stainless-steel refrigerator had scrape marks in the finish above and below each of the handles, because when they had removed the handles to move the refrigerator, they had just carelessly tried to pry them off instead of reading the instruction booklet that I had given them. Everywhere I looked I saw something that was either missing, torn up, or destroyed. They replaced the kick plate at the bottom of my kitchen cabinets with scrap wood that didn't match the wood color and they didn't even miter the corners. Honestly, a third grader could have done better. I am attaching photos of that. And even on the newly finished floor there were places that had bubbles. (photo)

But the main problem was our missing birth certificates. Someone had gone through the drawers where I kept these and had removed all of my families' birth certificates. They took mine, my husband's, and our two sons'. They took them out of the envelopes where they were kept and then put the empty envelopes back. They took my mother's, her aunts', and her uncle's certificates out of the antique secretary where they were kept. The envelopes that they were kept in were left empty. They even removed my daughter's birth certificate from her baby book. We lost her in a car accident several years ago and for that to be taken was a crushing blow. I can't bear to think that there is someone out there who is posing as my beloved daughter. Pretending to be her. NOBODY has that right, and NOBODY is good enough to try and pass themselves off as her. I hate them for this.

After filing a police report about the stolen items, we contacted ServiceMaster of Cobb and let them know about everything and were told that they would provide us with LifeLock because of the stolen birth certificates. Then we heard nothing for over a month so we called again. This time we were told that someone would get back with us. We heard nothing. Over and over this happened. Finally, after calling them numerous times over a two month period and being told each time that someone would return our call, only to receive no response, we finally began to think that we would have to take legal action to recover what they owed us. We had paid one third of our portion of the bill to ServiceMaster when they completed the job and wanted to settle the balance, but their charges included several things that they didn't do, such as cleaning. Not only did they not clean anything, but the first flooring man threw all of the garbage from refinishing the floors, (even a three-foot tall mound of floor dust) into our shrubbery. My walls were covered with the dust and I had to clean everything twice. The walls, which were newly painted were so dirty now that ServiceMaster had agreed to repaint them and included that in the price. But in the end, they didn't repaint a single thing. I had to repaint them myself.

So, one year later, after a whole year of no contact or cooperation at all from ServiceMaster and after they repeatedly refused to receive our calls or return our messages, I received a call from a collection agency saying that if the full balance wasn't paid that day, ServiceMaster was suing us for the money. I was LIVID! This is a dirty trick that an unscrupulous company will do when they know they're in the wrong and won't take responsibility for it. They thought they could squeeze the money out of us by threats and basically a blackmail scam.

Thank goodness I had notes and photos of all of the damage. That was what I had wanted them to pay for and I hadn't intended on charging them for the cleaning and painting that I had done, I just wanted them to remove those charges from their total since they hadn't done the work. I also had copies of the emails that I had sent trying to get them to settle with us. I emailed all of the photos to the lady and told her to tell them that I would NEVER give them the balance of what they were asking until they agreed to knock off the charges for the damage their workers had done. And I told her that if they chose to sue and not negotiate, I would sue them for all of the damages and for having a new floor put in my home since their flooring person had turned an 11-year-old beautiful shiny floor into a dull cupped and rippled piece of garbage that could never be fixed because it was now "at the end of its life."

She called me back to tell me that ServiceMaster denied being responsible for the damages and said that none of their employees had stolen anything from my home. They said that they had also spoken with the owner at "Company FLG" and his response was that he couldn't believe his people would steal because they had been with him for 12 years. I told her to call them back and tell them that there was a lock box on my house and ServiceMasters and "Company FLG" were the only two with the key and Service Master was in charge and responsible. If ServiceMaster says that the men from "Company FLG" didn't take the birth certificates, then someone from ServiceMaster took them. Plain and simple. WE DID NOT STEAL OUR OWN BIRTH CERTIFICATES!

After a few phone calls they finally agreed to take one half of what they were originally asking. It was probably a mistake for me to settle with them that day, but I just wanted this to end. One valuable lesson that I learned was if I ever have any damage that needs to be repaired, to NEVER again use ServiceMaster for ANYTHING! We now have a much more secure place for our valuable items, and we trust people a lot less thanks to ServiceMaster and the men from "Company FLG."

P.S. I'm thankful that I noticed so many things askew and began looking through all of my things, otherwise it might have been years before I found that our birth certificates were missing. I can't help but wonder how many other times those men from "Company FLG" have stolen birth certificates in the 12 years that they have worked there, and the customer just doesn't know it yet. By the time they realize that they're gone, they will have forgotten all about the time they had their floors refinished and had to leave several strange men in their home without supervision.

Don't waste your time with this site. I have lived in my very small town all of my life and know most of the families here. When I entered the number that I was interested in, I didn't recognize a single one of hundreds of the last names that popped up. I knew then that this site was phony, but, just to check things out, I entered fourteen of the names into pipl and spokeo, and both of those sites showed a "0 results found."

I suspect this is some sort of phishing site, but I know for certain that it is NOT accurate. Not even. 001% accurate. It's just made-up information with made up names.

Tip for consumers:
Don't even waste your time.
