I placed an order on 5/6/2021 for a flower arrangement for Mother's Day (5/9). I chose flex delivery which meant it could be delivered 5/7,5/8, or 5/9. Mother's Day arrived and I saw no change in order status. I reached out to 1800 Flowers that afternoon to express my concern. I was assured that my delivery would be delivered by 8pm. I continued to wait until 7:45pm. Still no delivery. I contacted 1800 Flowers again to get an update on my order. I was told it would be delivered for the second time, so I asked the representative to tell me the location of my delivery because it was 15 minutes until 8. The representative replied that she was sorry for the inconvenience and offered me $20 off my next order.
The fact that I ordered 3 days ahead and the flowers could've been delivered either of the 3 days, left no excuse to why my flowers were not delivered. I waited all day till night for my mother's flowers and was told each time they would be delivered. Not only did 1800 flowers fail to provide me with the service I paid for, they left me no time to seek another option to get my mom flowers. THIS COMPANY RUINED THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY FOR MOTHERS AND OFFERED ME $20. The audacity. I will never use this company again.
