Twitter (later X) went to crap after Mr. Musk bought Twitter as I saw people leaving Twitter, not just big names alone.

Twitter has become a cesspool of hate speech by tossing misinformation, negativity, MAGA crap, conservative crap, IFB crap, and deadnaming transgender individuals. I'm not a homosexual, I'm a heterosexual male, I'm extremely libertarian about what they want to do with their lives. No one wants to pay $8 USD/month for verification and I've seen companies leave Twitter permanently.

As a respected freelance illustrator, manga artist, and character designer, it's not worth it for everyone to risk AI-generated art, pro-NFTs, fake news, and toxicity. Time to leave that sinking ship for Mastodon, Counter Social, or Bluesky!

Tip for consumers:

Flickr has been treating everyone like crap by moderating or removing everybody's photos or deleting their accounts for any reason. I was treated like crap because I had many people blocking me from their Flickr citing that I was stealing their photos using the Flickr Toys Mosaic Maker without permission. Then many people continued to block me for dictating what I can and cannot post as Flickr has a strict no-uploading-any-nudity policy. Then I had five or six of my Flickr accounts terminated without warning.

They also want to moderate everything as I am not a pedrophile or that guy as I have a life and everyone knows that! Flickr can and will delete everyone's accounts for any reason and nobody is going to shell their 50 USD for a pro account.

Tip for consumers:
Use 500px or Instagram. Don't use Flickr for it.

  • Redbubble

The Redbubble Content Team keeps removing everybody's stuff (including mine) due to copyright infringement. Redbubble has received complaints from The Pokémon Company, Hells Angels, and recently, Atari. Four months ago, Redbubble removed my Petal as Sakura Kasugano piece (picture shown), claiming that it infringes copyright on Redbubble. They refused to reinstate the content at issue as it has been over 14 business days as I counter-notified one of my works. Redbubble is in violation of 17 USC 512(g)(2)(c).

Here's this: Any characters we designed or created for webcomics, video games, or other media can wear Converse, Adidas, or Vans (with a few modifications). Atari (the company who owns the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise), however, does not own any pixel art at all as pixel art is inspired by 80s/90s computer and video games.

The new CEO wants to keep the company in Australia as the company got sued by said companies (above). They should know that Capcom (the company who owns the Street Fighter IP) owns the Sakura Kasugano character/costume.

Tip for consumers:
Find Redbubble alternatives without tagging anything that is copyrighted and/or trademarked.

  • DeviantArt

DeviantArt needs to be shut down permanently by the FBI and Interpol. The staff and its moderators have refused to listen to its user base, have been removing and relocating deviations due to copyright and other violations, and have suspended or permanently banned users. The site is also full of cyberbullies, and art theft has been rampant. They should know that there are autistic people on the internet, including those who have ADHD and bipolar disorder. You don't treat people that way.

The site even also allowed AI art, since AI is known to mess up hands and feet and destroy/mess up the text. We need to know that AI art is not here to stay and needs to cease to exist immediately as you rarely see human-created content. I hope the staff and its moderators end up in prison for 24 months and five years of supervised release for user corruption and failure to listen to its user base. We need a website that can hide AI-generated images or not allow any AI-generated images at all.

Tip for consumers:
Use DeviantArt alternatives such as Behance, ArtStation, Instagram, and Pixiv. Don't use DeviantArt for it. Just save your stuff before deactivating your DeviantArt account. Save yourself the trouble.

  • Disqus

8/22/17

The Disqus staff needs to get professional help, or, not spew their crap for it. There are around 750 mean-spirited site moderators all across Disqus (including conservatives, alt-right, and conspiracy theorists) as they still refused to deal with users or site moderators who cyberbully, harass, threaten, defame, or slander people.

This site needs to be permanently shut down by the FBI and the Interpol for investigation, as the online defamation attorneys and law firms who represent the individuals will ask the individuals to seek legal action against Disqus as the commenting platform is going to lose a lot of customers as they will find alternatives to Disqus. Everybody has had enough of this crap as I hope the site will be permanently closed and have its staff and its product support team arrested/sentenced to six months in prison for corruption and failure to terminate any mean-spirited users/moderators.

Update 10/03/2018: I hope Zeta Global (the parent company) also faces legal action from the said online defamation attorneys and law firms.

Tip for consumers:
Use Disqus alternatives, such as wpDiscuz, Commento, and Spot.IM, or use the comment system included in your WordPress themes.
