I just returned a dress that looked nothing like its photo. I have now concluded that they are just throwing "any piece of Krap" on the auction site for bidding. In 2016 when I first started using GW's Auction site the merchandise was nice. But now in 2022 it is trash. I texted the company that several of the their stores are just putting any trashed item up for bid. Items that should be sold in the stores only. This dress was old, smells, has yellowed tags, made of cheap scratchy fabric, looks like it was in a closet since 1970. If I had seen this dress in person--I wouldn't have bought it, not even to wash my car with. This dress should have gone into the store or in the recycle fabric bid. My $9.99 turned into a $33.00 EXPENSE.

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy clothing or shoes. Or something you don't know a lot about before you bid. Look at the cost of shipping and then make that part of your maximum bid offer. Also Goodwill is putting any ratty garment on the auction block if it "has new designer tags" etc. So far I have been burned on:

1. A Ralph Lauren Dress. They listed the wrong measurements. It was too long and had been altered by the original owner. So it wasn't a true size anymore .2. Bose radio. Paid $100.00 for an outdated dirt

Products used:
I sent back the dress and it costed me an additional $13.00 to do so. There is NO customer service. I paid $21.00 for a $9.99 item and then the insult of the $13.00 Return USPS costs just to get my $21.00 Refunded back to me.

Verified site experience

This is about the only place I found on line that actually sells trees in gallon containers. Most other on line nurseries are sketch when it comes to the size of the tree, bush, plant or vines they are sending the customer. We are doing a Topical Theme in our yards.

Reason I chose this business:

Bigger trees for sale.

Here is the Up Date to my experience with Thred Up. After my June 12th Site Jabber Review my clothes suddenly appeared at my front door on June 16th 2020 around 6 p.m. delivered by a DHL truck. I am starting to doubt that they even left the state of Washington. The clothes are undamaged and all accounted for. But it was a terrible experience for both myself and my wallet. I also believe that I was discriminated against due to my age--62. Thred Up has "questionnaire" asking your age hidden in it. I think that too many of these consignment shops over all judge the customer by age. Another one did this to me way back in 2006--Plato's Closet. I submitted hipster new garments only to have them rejected. Then my teenage daughter went in with the SAME garments a week later... and... yep they took them.

Hi Cat, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're truly sorry that your Clean Out experience didn't turn out as planned and for any disappointment that was caused.

When looking at your account we can see that your Clean Out Kit was received at our facility & was then returned back to you per your request. At this time, we are experiencing Clean Out Kit processing delays due to precautions we are taking for COVID-19 to keep our teams safe. We hope you might give our Clean Out service another try somewhere down the line! If there is anything else we can help you with at this time please feel free to chat us over at thredUP.com/contact.

I fear my clothes have been "taken"...

Sent my Kit Bag on March 21st, 2020 and they still haven't processed it. What makes it worst is that I signed up for Return Assurance--and they "claimed" that I didn't have it on my account when I ordered my kit--they "reverse this" after I told them that I have photographs (which I will send to the Attorney's Generals Office Office of Consumer Affairs). I think that they used the corona virus ordeal to simply "take" my garments--and then sent me repeated emails trying to get me to "donate" my clothing. They keep using my process date back and have not returned my garments to me. These were expensive items new never worn, less than three years old, in season Spring and Summer. Clothes bought at Macy's. They were in immaculate condition.

Tip for consumers:
Skip ThredUp. there are plenty of local consignment shops that anyone could do business with.

Well actually nothing. They just took my clothes. And now I am dealing with "delay tactics".

This has turned into a TERRIBLE company in the past year or so. They must have sold out OR are now governed by a RUTHLESS board of directors. The merchandise has become cheap, they side the wrong sizes out, and NOW the customer service is abusive. I had to file TWO Federal Trade Commission reports just to get them to take back two pairs of shoes that were the wrong size and give me the cost back on my charge account. The second F. T. C. Filed today--in retaliation for my standing up for my RIGHTS... They have reduced my credit rating from around $2,000 down to 'just about what I owe them $900.00 and are reporting to the credit bureaus that I am at my limit now. This is a despicable company. AND I think that a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT needs to be started.

In the 3 years since I wrote the my original review I have done my research on this Full Beauty Company. They lost the Perfume Outlet Company and will ruin a customer's credit by reducing their credit line, then reporting them as being "over their limit" to the 3 Major Credit Bureau's. This causes as domino effect of now your other credit cards see you credit has been reported as "over limit" and their raise their interest rates on you also.

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from Full Beauty. Pay off your account if you can, and CLOSE your account with them.

Products used:
None of them. I FORCED a return to them by mailing the shoes to the Corporate Office!!!
