I realize ecrater is just a selling platform but they really do need to do a better job of screening their sellers. My last purchase on the site involved a seller who advertised a dvd/comic book combination which was a very special limited production item. When I received the shipment, he had sent the dvd only without the included book, and the dvd was not even the same one from the item he'd advertised.
Okay, so not a completely horrible experience, I figured I'd just return it for a refund, but the seller stomped his feet and INSISTED that I'd gotten the correct item and that a refund was out of the question. When I engaged him in the ecrater forums and provided photographic proof that he was wrong, ecrater admin removed my posts and banned me from the forums.
After a month of constant followup with the seller, ecrater and Paypal, I was finally able to secure a refund for the purchase. In my 20 years of online shopping, this was truly the worst experience I've ever had, and makes me hesitant to consider ecrater for any future purchases.
