I realize ecrater is just a selling platform but they really do need to do a better job of screening their sellers. My last purchase on the site involved a seller who advertised a dvd/comic book combination which was a very special limited production item. When I received the shipment, he had sent the dvd only without the included book, and the dvd was not even the same one from the item he'd advertised.

Okay, so not a completely horrible experience, I figured I'd just return it for a refund, but the seller stomped his feet and INSISTED that I'd gotten the correct item and that a refund was out of the question. When I engaged him in the ecrater forums and provided photographic proof that he was wrong, ecrater admin removed my posts and banned me from the forums.

After a month of constant followup with the seller, ecrater and Paypal, I was finally able to secure a refund for the purchase. In my 20 years of online shopping, this was truly the worst experience I've ever had, and makes me hesitant to consider ecrater for any future purchases.

I sold on B during the early days when the forums were active and busy and had quite a bit of success. After they shut down the forums though, my sales dropped off and the site seemed to become a bit harder to navigate. I disagree with the reviewers here who call it a scam site since I did have overall success there, but in the end the amount of effort wasn't worth the income.

Reading another user's completely ridiculous review of Atomic Mall prompted me to write my own. As a seller there since 2016 I have seen my sales improve year over year while only increasing my product range minimally. I like the navigation, the ability to communicate directly with my buyers (instant chat or email) and the fact that my payments are not held by the company (I'm paid directly by each buyer).

I look forward to expanding my store and staying with AM for the long haul! A truly unique and pleasant place to sell my products. I'm also an occasional buyer!

My monthly hosting bill has tripled in just under six months, with no explanation, no warning, and no usage stats to back it up. They offer decent hardware and customer support, but I can no longer afford the huge monthly fees. Moving on...
