I ordered a Vika folding electric bike on Blixbike with some accessories online on May 4th 2021 because they were advertising a delivery by May 15th and I was in a need of a ebike for going to work.
It turns out after many reminders, I finnally received the ebike scratched on June 15th 2021 ( 4 weeks late) but without the $250 accessories that were ordered together and no special notes.
Blix did not update me on the delivery date nor the missing items before I reached out.
By chat I was told the part of the accessories will be delivered at the end of June and the rest end of July.
By email today, I was told it won't be before august.
I had a call from their custumer service today and here is what they offered:
1- to send out some paint in order for me to patch the scratches!
2- to wait for the accessories for another 8 weeks and give a bag. As I refused this offer and asked for a refund for the accessories, I was told they will do so but did not offer any compensation for the terrible experience.
It is false advertising to claim short delivery time when they know their bycicles are coming from Taiwan and are not yet in the USA.
I have the sensation I was lied to since day one.
What a shame!
