Verified purchase

Site has predominantly fake profiles and the goal is to lure you into believe you're chatting w the person in the highly airbrushed, if not totally fake pics. Don't be fooled. You cannot see a photo or vid in real time, which is important. This allows the grift to go forward. There are some real profiles, but they're very rare (<20%... my guess). Most if not all of the women chatting are being paid tokens or commissions to extract credits from you for opening their canned pics and vids. If you're trying to meet a real person for a relationship, you're better off trying church first. Caveat emptor

Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time here.... don't be gullible and note that the monetization of the business model requires you to not be able verify who you're chatting with

I purchased a refurbished I-phone in August of 2019 for my wife from Back Market (broker), not understanding that the phone actually came from a 3rd party. Upon receipt of the phone, I noticed that a screw was half way out on the bottom of the phone. BM asked us to take it to a local repair shop (UbreakiFix) and they got the screw out and inserted a new screw. UbreakiFix also told my wife that there were multiple screws that appeared to be missing when they opened the phone. They evidently had to remove both screws, open and close the screen in order to get it back together correctly. They said it powered up okay and appeared to work. Phone stopped working after 11 mos. And I returned it to their "partner" to have it fixed (under warranty). Upon them receiving the phone, they said that either we, or someone else had opened the phone, which effectively voided the warranty. BM claimed it was missing parts. The screen was in clean condition and it had never been exposed to water or excessive moisture. The phone just stopped powering up... My wife and I wouldn't know how to open the phone and it was only looked at by BM and/or their partner. Still waiting to get our defective phone back. I would steer clear of this company unless you too want to get conned by a very shady company.

I'd had some good experience with Ebay several years ago... but recently I used them to buy a refurbished I-phone (Diamond Wireless-3rd party vendor) after updating my new address info online and by phone support. I ordered phone online and even after confirming my new address w Ebay phone support, it was sent to the old address 100's of miles away. I immediately notified all (Ebay and their 3rd party vendor-Diamond Wireless) that the ship to address was incorrect as soon as soon as I was e-notified it had been mailed (wasn't scheduled to be delivered for 4 days via FedEx). I had asked Ebay and Diamond Wireless to have it returned or re-routed to the correct address and Ebay said "no worries"... file a claim when you get notif it arrived at wrong address. The clueless person at Diamond Wireless said, "Oh just mail it back and we'll refund". Ebay supervisor claimed it was covered by some kind of "built-in" delivery insurance (pure lie). Diamond Wireless is even worse than Ebay... caveat emptor. I did notify Ebay and Diamond Wireless again when FedEx sent me notif of delivery to wrong address and Ebay immediately denied claim. Poor customer support and supervisors who simply lie to cover their rear ends. Ebay and Diamond Wireless are very simply crooks in my opinion. I ended up taking a day off work to drive 400 miles round trip and spending $50 on gas to retrieve the package from the new homeowner and mailed back to Diamond Wireless w return notif. At my expense. DW still tried to hang onto my $$. CAVEAT EMPTOR. If you buy a refurb phone on Ebay beware. I ended up using Back Market, not Ebay, and I got an excellent product with excellent support. I would give Back Market 5 stars. Ebay gets no more business from me.

Tip for consumers:
try another vendor if you want to buy a refurbished phone. I used "Back Market" successfully and have no complaints about them
