I ordered two items to try them out. The VGA switch severely reduces the available resolution, and the MP3 player is so bad you can hardly tell if the battery is in. Of course, they want the bag the first item came in, so I can't return it. Testing the stuff was the last time I'll waste on these crooks.


These people look more responsive than DX.com, but they just rip you off another way. I spent hours carefully testing two electronic products to isolate the problem, and then they demanded video of the whole procedure, instead of even accepting a negative review. Customer service is just a frustrating bot.
Of the three items I ordered, only a plain brass plate worked as advertised.

They had a couple of hard-to-find items at decent prices and reasonably quick delivery. I really don't like being known by a string of gibberish that I finally used after dozens of laborious attempts to find an available version of my name. I'll be first in line to switch when there are ratings to find similar businesses who treat their workers like human beings, never mind the price.


Be sure to use a new browser and read everything twice. Getting action from customer service is a cross between trying to return a dead parrot and explaining to your girlfriend why her pants don't fit.


I've ordered dozens of items here last year, and was happy with most of them, until I hit a snag. Battery specs not to be trusted at all, and if you send in negative feedback, they won't put it in their reviews. They are a total gamble. Dealing with the arcane refund system has paid off at about $2.50 an hour, very likely as it was designed to do. I have gone from telling everyone about DX to frantically retracting my recommendations. The only reason I leave them two stars is because they send new technology to the boondocks, and some of it works. If you can go to a store, do it.
