Love it love love it. Upload your music to the cloud and listen to it anywhere you want. My only problem with this service now is that I worry about all of the limits AT&T puts on my usage and wants to charge me when I go over that amount. I would be too scared to use my ipad to stream music... same for my iphone when not connected to wifi. Still the day will come when it will be virtually unlimited data... or I switch to verizon and can more readily enjoy the mspot service.

  • Rdio

Not a bad service and well worth the $4.95 a month to basically sync all of your music together and it does somewhat work with itunes. One of the main drawbacks is that right now I can't upload music that I already own and that is a major bummer for me. Still not a bad music service created by rdio or however you prounance it.

With all of the counterfeit items being sold online, I bet people would really be interested in a site like this which aggregates the daily deals on luxury items like prada purses, coach, gucci or whatever else is in demand. Easier to just check one single site for the best daily deals rather than trying to sign up for all of them individually. The only downside will be the quality of the websites selling the items. Hard to say with 80 sites selling products that all of them will be good service.

  • Quora

Another one of the many ideas out there which needs critical mass to become successful. I believe this is a better version of yahoo answers. Yahoo answers is for the ignorant masses who will believe that windex will cure a wart. Quora has some pretty good answers and intelligent people and while they do not apparently get much traffic to their site, the quality of the people is higher. Eventually they will monetize the answers that people write and it must be the case that the people who bother with this site get some value in return. It is worth checking out, though I wouldn't use facebook connect as I like to keep my stuff private

  • Ouffer

Pretty cool idea to clone groupon in other countries and have daily deals as you definitely need a local presence to pull this off. I do wonder how the locals view this company and if they find it as good or bad as groupon here in the states. Ouffer site does look vaguely similar to groupon in design, but I guess that is the magic that works. No point in reinventing the wheel.

If you are looking to buy cheap blank media like DVDs/CDs or toner/ink, etc definitely check out this store first. Fast, reliable and cheap... I highly recommend them.

Not a bad site and it does appear they will actually ship you the products. I am giving it a Meh rating because of the lack of any real published medical study in a journal attached to this product. I "love" how the chairman posts his own hormone levels as a testamonial of the product. Still I'm all about fish oil, I just buy it from costco :)

  • The Wall Street Journal

12/5/10

I have always known that if I were going to read one paper it should be the wall street journal, the only problem was that it was a pain to read and I hated all of the paper around the house (such a waste and bad for environment). I recently subscribed to a digital version of the WSJ and found that it is so much better than the paper version. Highly recommend everyone ditch their local paper and just read the WSJ.

I am going to send a link to this review to all of my friends and family. If you looking for a clever gift for me then find something on this site. Ship it to me and then give me a gift receipt. They have great ideas for presents and I am writing this review during xmas season... hint. Hint.

  • Yodle Reviews

11/10/10

Yodle is a very smart company and financially I am sure they do very well by reselling google ad words to small businesses that do not know how to do online advertising themselves. On sitejabber there are dozens of complaints about yodle and how people lost money to that company. It appears if you did a google search for "yodle reviews" you came up with very negative yodle reviews. So what did yodle do about this? They created this website www.yodlereviews.com so now you only see positive reviews about yodle and they pay google for the top result. Very smart indeed.

  • Download.com

10/18/10

If you are looking for a new video conversion software, dvd burning, or pretty much anything you should check here first to see what they have for download. Most are just trial versions but at least you can see whether it works for you or not.

Jewelry penny auction... just what we need. Not only is online jewelry already a scam industry with people selling shady gems online, but now it is a penny auction. Girls... just don't do it. I know a diamond neclace for $4 is tempting but just stay away from this gambling site

  • Dv Info

Very good information on figuring out what type of HD video camera to buy especially if you are trying to so something on a semipro level. The options for video cameras these days are endless, with hard drives, tapes. 720p 1080p, 24fps, 60 fps and now some DSLRs are shooting video with SLR lenses... and it goes on and on. Store reps just want to sell you what they carry and it is really tough to figure out the best video camera especially if you want it to last for the next few years. This is a great resource and the people are very helpful

I don't really believe in this form of online gambling, but if you are going to play the slot machine bigdeal is a little more fair I think that most of these auction sites. Read about them on techcrunch

http://techcrunch.com/2009/11/19/bigdeal-com-reinvents-and-legitimizes-swoopos-controversial-auction-bidding-model/

  • Vuse

4/30/10

Vuse is basically bittorrent for the masses. It allows one to search for all sorts of files ranging from movies to software like games. The free version is great and the paid version includes a virus checker and the ability to burn DVDs, though most who use torrents know how to do that anyways. The addition of the virus checker and DVD burning definitely will appeal to the masses they hope will adopt Vuse. I would recommend anyone interested in file sharing to try this software over the less commercial ones.

This is one of the more popular prepaid credit cards and you actually just get it at Walmart, then when you want to make a purchase online that seems a little dicey to you, just use the prepaid card for the exact amount that you want to spend. No more worry about future unauthorized charges or disputing a charge that you didn't want.

  • AccountNow

4/16/10

Everyone has seen how many people get scammed by online companies that fraudulently bill you for an amount you never authorized. You can call your credit card company AFTER they ripped you off and beg for your money back, but that often doesn't end well and you are at their mercy. What I do now is get a pre-paid credit card and then put only the amount of money I want into it and that way I am protected against future charges. I think things like this are going to be the way of the future as people begin to only use credit cards for everything. Great for kids too... you can't have those little suckers running around with unlimited spending...

  • Ugg-mall

1/8/10

Lessons to be learned here.

1. uggs are insanely popular and easy to make rip off versions of them.
2. western union and wire transfers for clothing will leave you crying
3. No contact info or phone number on a website is just bad news
4. If it is too good to be true, then run

Chris even did an entire blog on this subject and anyone buying uggs should read it

  • Fastbuggies

1/8/10

How can you be a member of this site and not see the flame wars that occur of this buggy site. I'm simply amazed at how this company can even stay in business with all of this bad internet publicity. This company may make a good product but they had better step up on customer service if they wish to survive this next decade where consumers and transparency will rule them.

Clever marketing... penny auctions... seems more like gambling because you may walk away with nothing.
