This buisness had a promo where the first dog toy/treat monthly subscription box you get you pay 5$, ie had monthly subscription boxes for my dog for years and was curious to try this new Canadian company since my current box is from a USA company. Their site said to get promo you had to subscribe to 6 or 12 month plan. I chose 6 months, but i also only did this because they stated i could cancel at any time. I finished sign up, paid and within a few days i received an email from Canada post stating my box will be here January 9th, box was purchased on Dec 11th... my box from USA ships, and is delivered within 2 weeks... this company states on their website that box will be shipped in 2-4 buisness days after order... that does not explain the long wait? Now once i seen how long it would take i decided to cancel subscription, they denied me that even tho my email confirmation states i can cancel my subscription anytime befor Jan 11th... they then offered to cancel it but said i would still be charged for the following 6 months... after i said no and expressed my disappointment they offered to bill me all 6 months at once... alot of these answers were copied and pasted repeatedly and durring discussion they left and blocked me after i provided them with screen shot of the email confirmation stating i can cancel... this blocked me from placing any review or anything on Facebook where they do majority of their advertising and customer service. Im highly disappointed and disgusted by this company.

Id like to add they delete all comments on any photos on their FB page, leaving no warnings or reviews or even the slightest info for new possible customers.

Tip for consumers:
Go elsewhere. Barkbox and many more REPUTABLE buisnesses

Thank you for your review of our local business. As we already told you in different sources and your husband Max, the 90% discount is a special offer, which is valid when you subscribe for 3 or 6 months. Unfortunately, if you would like to try out the box, the only plan which will fit your needs is the one-month plan. That's why you paid 5$ for the first box in the 6-month plan.

There is detailed information on our site describing the difference between 1,3, and 6-months plans. You can also sign in to your account and check that the 6-month plan can be canceled only after the sith month. You found a typo in our email. No worries, it is already fixed. Your account, your subscription plans, each step of subscription, and during the payment, there was detailed information that 6-month plans can be canceled in 6 months. That's why it is called a six-month plan.

We would be glad to cancel the subscription if you reached us before the first box was shipped. As we have sent you the first box, we can propose you two options, as you already know.

You can stay on 6 months plan and cancel it after the end.
Or we can switch you to a 1-month plan and cancel your subscription immediately. If you prefer this option, please reach support@lilypetbox.ca to adjust the price to a 1 monthly plan.

Please be respectful of our small business. We care about our family, customers, and pups. We are not tolerating any misleading information, aggressiveness, harassment of our team.
