If you get sucked into paying money, you get nothing for it. When you try to quit, it often won't go through. If you find your private information listed and attempt to opt out, all the system does is ask you to verify your information, claim it's calling you (but it doesn't) then report, "Your request to remove your information from Whitepages has been rejected due to an incorrect confirmation code."
