Listen, when you have a site for free you can't be choosy. They are like craigslist in that they have not changed their user interface in year. Or even ever. But it works for them. Easy to search. Only issue is that you can only search +/- 14 years from your age. But again it's free! C'mon guys.
Tip for consumers:
I don't condone changing your age but you can't search above or below 14 years your current age
I appreciate what my Coach/Matchmaker (Nick) helped me through. I am HIV poz and I live in the Bible belt - and my closet door has not swung all the way open. I also felt like I had bled dry the entire single gay scene, whatever that may be, in my area. He turned up some guys I would not even known had existed before coming to him. Yes I am still a member which means we've not found the love of my life... yet... but I remain hopeful. He discloses my status, makes sure they are ok with it, and I got some dates that helped me learn a lot about myself, what I was looking for and how to improve a first date - like body language, energy, what to look for, etc. Thank you Nick for building my confidence up. Tip for consumers:
I found the coaching service more useful than the momentum service, but only because I like the phone call interaction with my matchmaker. FYI: Your assigned matchmaker will also be your personal coach. Also, if you live in a rural part of the country (uhem - no glbt community or lacking) then start with 2 matches per month to see how things go.
Definitely an improvement over the last version. As an IT guy myself, I appreciate the subtle changes then enhance one's experience.
Tip for consumers:
If you want Google search engine results, make sure to select headline and first lines of your "about you" effectively - essential keywords if you want job seekers to find you.
They literally sell EVERYTHING. I highly recommend purchasing the Prime, not for the movies, but for the shipping. It pays for itself after only 5 purchases.
I hate to say it but they have gotten passed and lapped by Airbnb who quickly grew. Flipkey needs to do what Airbnb does which is provide an insurance policy or the homeowners AND assurances for the renters. They currently are not an escrow either like Airbnb.
Please do not look at the endless questions and percent compatibility with other "matches". In fine print - for entertainment purposes only.
