If you think I've made my mind based on one bad experience, just read through:
1. Last year we bought a couch and after waiting for 12 weeks, they delivered a wrong couch, had to wait another 8 weeks to bring the right one! (I thought these things happen, but was I wrong!)
We bought online 3 closets, and a guest and requested for assembly for 2 of the closets. When the purchased finished we noticed due to one of the closets taking long to get ready we have to wait 12 weeks, so we canceled that one over the phone and the customer service (if you could call that) told us we can even request for part delivery meaning since one of the closets and the desk would be ready in two weeks, those can be delivered and the second closet will arrive after 8 weeks (we had no reason to doubt that). On another purchase, we bought a TV table as well. When close to the delivery of the TV table AS ALWAYS they sent us an email that they have a problem with their delivery and its very busy and it will be delivered with two weeks delay! And part delivery is also not possible again since they are super busy scamming people with their horrible service! We requested since you are not keeping any of your promises at least add assembly of the desk to the list and we will pay for that. They responded it's not possible since it may cause other deliveries delay! Dah! Like they deliver anything on time!
After 12 weeks they brought all the items together (just to make it easy for themselves with no meaning for customer appreciation), they assembled the two closets and JUST TO TOP THAT UP they had forgotten to build two of the doors for the closet. When complaining about this to SO-CALLED customer service! They rudely responded they are allowed to fix the issues in two attempts! And yes we had to wait another 4 weeks till the doors get ready!
And upon delivery of the last item (a sofa bed we bought), they broke a lamp! To complete their perfect delivery!
The annoying part is they don't keep their end of the bargain, never deliver items on the time promised, they have a very rude customer service that not only does not solve any issue but also shockingly rude!
My suggestion is if they don't have the item you like in stock, just choose another store. And don't fall for the promises they give you upon purchase, they are not going to keep them!
Big brands usually tend to improve their system and customer satisfaction as they get bigger, this is not an intention for Hoffner!
