I purchased a OnePlus6 phone in June 2018 and started noticing a weaking battery from day one. I used Accubattery software and noticed that it kept losing about 10 mAh daily. The battery eventually exploded at end of August 2018 as the case opened up from the back and won't close. However, in July 2018, I went to Sea World, San Antonio, where the phone was dipped into water for 10 seconds in my pocket. The phone went bad for a few days until I had someone clean it up so it came back. However, now, when I called OnePlus they refused to honor their warranty saying the motherboards, the lcd, the battery, and the light sensor are bad, which would all cost me around $325. They have refused to listen to me saying the warranty is void. I would not recommend such weak phones that are not even so little water resistant although their website says it's splash resistant. I would not recommend their phones.
