I could shop in different stores for shoes but the one I can always rely on is Clarks.
Their customer service is great and will tell you how to protect your shoes, quality has never been a problem with me, infact for my slightly wide feet, their standard D size works great. They also offer a no-hassle refund policy incase you do want to return an item. I must confess that I feel a tad guilty about piling on Clarks shoes whilst the old ones dont seem to give up that easily. :)

I have used this site for not more than a month. Ordered court shoes that looked really great online. However, when they arrived, no where close to my UK shoe size (Mine's a standard feet and not wide either). I had to send this back. Customer service was useful but again a co-ordination problem, I was given a date for return collection but the parcel guy came 2 days earlier. It was all okay till this point. Then started follow ups for return from my end. I got an email confirming my refund was being progressed almost after a month of returning the original items. Thereby, the actual money was credited close to a month later. I wouldn't use this site again simply because of their sizes online which makes it so uncertain as well as the return hassle.

Just thought of updating on what happened next, well, the battery did arrive. However, I refused to accept my courier. Just like someone on this post has mentioned, luckily I had raised a dispute with PayPal much before the actual delivery of this item (i. E. when the courier came to deliver), mentioning dates, delivery timelines, why I will not accept it even if it is sent at a later date (I simply said that their website is mis-leading and I understood I was ordering from UK when I paid but I wasn't going to accept any cross border delivery). Paypal refunded within their set timelines.

Horrible Experience. Was in a similar situation as most others have mentioned, I needed a battery replacement urgently and this seemed like a genuine UK based company. The only miss from my end was that I usually do a review prior to ordering but I didn't in this case.
Only to realize once the payment was gone that this is a cross-border transaction. Ordered on the 9th Feb and till date not a single email confirmation on whether the order is being processed. There is no way to call or contact them apart from email and hence have now raised a dispute through Paypal.
Feeling foolish and cheated! Like the rating states - Stay Away!
