I placed a $400 order for the Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale. My order was confirmed the same day. A week later and still no further updates to my order. As per the instructions on my order confirmation, I called to get a status update a week later. It took 20 minutes to get through to a customer service representative. They were polite and seemingly accommodating to my queries and requests. I was told I would see an email the same day that would outline the status of my order. I did not get an email so I followed up the next day. Again, it took about 20 minutes to get through to a service rep. I won't really fault them on the wait times as it seems common with corporate operations of all kinds these days. This service rep. Was also polite and accommodating and the issues were resolved right away.
For whatever reason(s), the delivery times for Cabela's online ordering are very slow when compared to many other online retailers, corporate or otherwise.
Unless you are willing to wait 3 weeks or more for your order to be delivered, I suggest that you go to the nearest outlet.
