Glen Smith with Boise Orthodontics was my orthodontist for over 5 years. I feel he made several painful and one expensive mistake and never took responsibility for any. His bedside manner was awful and the ladies who worked for him a few times had to smooth things over a bit after he walked away and on a one occasion apologize, yet they were never unprofessional about how they responded. When he decided to take my braces off, I knew my teeth didn't seem right. So I asked questions on several occasions and he was rude and short. I called another orthodontics office to get a second opinion about a few things that seemed wrong, they confirmed what I thought, so I strongly requested that Dr. Smith finish a couple small moves to give a healthier bite. Which he did, but not without quite the argument. My teeth were awful from the get go, so he had his hands full, but it did not excuse his behavior. I was a good patient, paid early, showed up on time and always did what I was told. I had heard some things before I signed on, but at the consultation he seemed legitimate and very capable, so I went for it and learned soon into my ortho care how stressful things would be...
