I am struggling because of an invoice from this transporter which I will never use in my life again. TNT announced freight costs of 145 usd for a delivery from China, parcel well received. Approximately one month later I received an invoice (with due date < receiving date!) for custom fees. The amount was higher than expected because TNT charged more than 300 for freight costs. To my question why they replied that they did not know the price for this shipment (great, they are the transporter!) and they applied a "statistic" value. To my question why they did not inform me about it (they must do) they have never replied and transferred the case to a payment recouvery company! Not only they do not respect the regulation but they are not capable to manage their claims... So as conclusion: do not use TNT, there are a lot of other transporters who do a great job!
