WordPress is a wonderful place to blog, to express yourself and not be judged. You can write about just anything without any experience; take your time to figure out your niche. There is a learning curve that takes time but doable. I enjoy writing in response to the prompts and the photo challenges.

A big problem with buying on Walmart.com is that they don't offer Buyer Protection. Once you make your purchase from a 3rd party and something doesn't work out, you're on your own. I personally had to jump through a few hoops trying to contact the seller. The seller won't return my emails and hung up on me each time I tried to call their 800 number. The seller's return policy that I did read before making my purchase, stated that I could return for any reason, however I was running into the brick wall or so it felt. Next time will try to pay by Paypal. A lesson learned.

Tip for consumers:
Take your time to read the return policy and make your payment by Paypal which will give you Buyer Protection for 6 months.

Verified purchase

Poshmark protects their sellers at any cost. It has quietly made a change involving buyers' protection. While buyers can still use Paypal as an extra protection, they no longer have an option to login to Paypal. Heck it is not even an option, rather an order coming from Poshmark directly. Like doing it our way or no way. I have found out the hard way.

It looks like Poshmark is having their own Paypal within their site... I know it does not make sense so take it for what it's worth.

What's more, should you happened to have a misfortune of not receiving your purchase by mail, you end up emailing the Poshmark support — yes emailing — using your own email address. In this age of spammers lurking, it's rather funny for lack of better word.

As a result, a purchasing transaction does not show on the Paypal website at all. Hence the buyers are losing the perceived extra protection coming from Paypal as it used to be before the aforementioned change. This change was made rather quietly although I am sure is buried in the Terms of Use somewhere. Not announced by email or by other means. It appears that Poshmark does not care about buyers' protection which is rather sad. I am not going to make any purchases on Poshmark website and don't recommend others using it. There are better alternatives.

Tip for consumers:
Due to the recent changes made rather quietly, Poshmark does NOT offer much protection for the buyers. Login to Paypal is poof gone, hence no more extra protection as it used to be back in the day. Paypal is still used as an option, albeit in a new Poshmark way, efficiently eliminating an extra protection for the buyers.

What's more, all buyers' claims are submitted using buyers' actual email address and not from within the Poshmark site.

Stay away, there are better alternatives.

I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card.

I am very disappointed in Target and will never shop there again. At the University Heights OH location, indoor parking spaces are reminiscent of some Halloween scenes. Dark and poor visibility when trying to pull out of your parking space. An accident waiting to happen. Not that Target cares one bit.

At Skokie IL location most items are available online only, and the cashiers will send you to the wrong aisles upon request. A nightmare. These cashiers need a REAL training that Target obviously does not provide.

Besides, Target does not carry wide width shoes, despite their rubber stamp replies on social media. Time to move on to the better places. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. I do not recommend Target shopping.

  • MapQuest

Mapquest is used to be my go-to site for all my mapping needs. This however has changed as now it is extremely difficult to navigate. As if it wasn't enough for them to run huge ads up and down that nearly block the map, thus efficiently defeating the purpose, a huge box pops up asking if I want to run the search again. There is an option to cancel this nonsense but the button doesn't work. This doesn't happen each time but is frustrating when it does happen. Nowadays it's a hit or miss. So I'm switching to Google Maps from now on. Don't waste your time with Mapquest.

There is no search box so off you go on a wild goose chase to flip through their categories. Very frustrating & time consuming. Then again, I found an item (a clock) and the site wants to verify my identity. Sent me a huge mouthful text when all it takes is a 4-digit code. Came back and the site doesn't recognize me. What a waste of time. STAY AWAY

Horrible. I have purchased winter boots from this company on the Walmart.com site, and subsequently wanted to return. The quality is subpar, the fabric is stiff & unyielding, and the way shoelaces work, just not going to last. So I opted to return but had to go through the seller, rather than through Walmart.com. Have sent 3 (three!) emails with no response. Then made a few calls to the 800 number. Twice was hung up on. Called the third time and started with, don't hang up on me! Their CS is outsourced and has problems with spelling. Finally was able to receive & print a return label by email. They want you to purchase UPS insurance, while knowing well that insurance up to $100 is already included in the UPS Ground. What's more, they want you to print it on the laser printer, right, like off I'm running to buy a laser printer rather than using my good old inkjet, and what's the difference? Another attempt to discourage returns. AVOID THIS MERCHANT.

  • Amazon

Amazon and I have parted ways, partly for the reason that their customer service is outsourced, barely speaks English and totally unreliable. You really have to take their advice with a huge grain of salt.

As a buyer, I have experienced situations when I ordered an item of a certain color but received a different color with an explanation that they were out of stock on the color #1. That color however still was listed up for sale, even though being out of stock. Amazon doesn't care.

So it just wasn't working, and I requested my account closed. I am now a Top Rated Seller on eBay, and am happy with that. Am buying on eBay, too.

I emphasized that a fake picture (made on Photoshop) is not valid to make a point. I still don't understand why it was flagged. The poster admitted that the picture was made on Photoshop.

My 1st amendment rights are continuously violated up to the point I was told not to post about a certain subject while the others are free to do so. My disagreement with the majority of posters doesn't justify ordering me not to post about said topic. I feel everyone should have the right to their opinion.

Bottom line: If you dare to post your opinion on NextDoor site, watch out. Once you post something that doesn't jive with the Lead, you will be attacked. The Leads are not identified as such and pretend not even knowing what the word moderator means. Yeah right. On this site, you MUST be politically correct and agree with the majority. Dare to disagree more than once, and you're toast. In the meantime, everyone knows your full name & where you live, so no telling what might happen next. I was wise enough not to post my real picture lol.

Then again, the site wants to know your emergency contacts, your family & pets, your interests, your hobbies, and what you love about your neighborhood. Wonder why they have to be so nosy.
