Before Christmas I was looking for a 5th generation ipod nano and ipodnanosite appeared tobe selling them for £89 which is a sensible price and with all of the apple icons it seemed genuine enough.
I had the feeling that something wasnt quite right but foolishly went ahead and enetered my card details and bought an ipod nano for £89. When the confirmation email arrived more alarm bells were ringing but as i had a couple of important jobs to do I had to leave the inetrnet until later on in the evening. When i did some research i found that were a complete scam and immediately cancelled my bank card. The bank knew of the company and confirmed it was a scam but that they couldnt stop the payment as it was in process. It was also more than the £89, actual figure of £92.62.
I tried going back on the ipodnanosite using teh username and password that we registered with and surprise surprise it kept saying we werent registered.
This week the ipod arrived and what a piece of junk it is. It doesnt sync, the dial doesnt work, it feels like its going to break when you put the usb charger into it or when you press the dial.
Avoid this site at all costs.
Im trying to get the money back through the disputes procedure but not holding out much hope to be honest.
Payment wa staken by visamasterpay.com so if you ever see that associated with any sites please avoid those as well.
