The review feature is great on ebay, and since kijiji is owned by ebay they thought it would be an awesome idea. NOT SURE WHYYYYY

So i have an item listed at 70$, item value is around $90-100 selling rate. Buyer messages asking if I would take $40. I replied nicely and said sorry that is too low, I am looking for more on this item.

Bam, negative review from a low baller? What a total joke.

The kijiji feature should be removed, or at least have a proper reason for the feedback, not just some pissed off buyer that wants stuff for free.

I still post stuff on there since its easy to lose old junk, but the site overall sucks, full of ads, full of paid ads, all the reviews are basically spot on.

Amazing place to buy, great buyer protection, strict limits on sellers, shipping time.
Even if the item is being sold AS IS... for parts, DOES NOT WORK... buyer can scam you like no tomorrow, make you pay for shipping to and from them.

If you decline to assist, they will just open a case against you and you will lose the item and all the funds too.

AS as seller, avoid like the plague. There is no protection for you.
A buyer can just buy your item say a new iphone with serial number 1234, they will get the correct item, put a junk phone or even brick back in the box, claim its not as decribed.
AS a seller you will need to pay for them to ship back the brick to you, when you receive it, the minute ebay sees the tracking number has reached your location, BAMMM full refund back to buyer.

Now you are left with a brick, paid shipping to and from buyer.

Good job ebay, in due time ALL sellers will leave this junk site so all the scam buyers can have the playground all to themselves.

Be sure of what you are buying as all items are sold "AS-IS"

If you use the ticket system its totally useless, staff are just blindly reading comments and respond with info that makes no sense.

For example some identical items will have outrageous shipping rates, from the exact same store. They will increase the weight just to charge you more and prevent items from being bundled.

Item protection is trash, they will literally throw the item into a HUGE cardboard box and then its basically rubble when it arrives.

Use with caution, some items can be a good buy, but most of the time its a hit/miss.

Website also sucks when it comes to lagging, notifications come in AFTER the listing ends.
