Buyer Beware of this company... frustration doesn't even begin to explain how I feel after this complete circus I'm dealing with. Incompetent and deceitful is all I can call Extreme Terrain.
I have ordered/bought some parts for my jeep jk and they sent me the wrong items. I called their customer service at the time of the delivery and i was advised to refuse the package (which i did). The customer service rep told me that he'll fix the problem and that he'll call me back the same day. I waited four days and when i finally got ahold of the same customer rep he had no idea of who I was or what was going on. After I explained what the situation was I was told that extreme terrain has discontinued selling the item a couple days ago and that they dont know where my parts are. The service rep said that he'll contact the warehouse and fix this problem asap and that he'll call me within two hours. Four hours later I still haven't received a call and now they won't answer my calls either. Finally after numerous calls and messages
They picked up the phone and put me on hold for 30 minutes.
After I was passed back and forth between reps and was finally able to speak to another rep, I was informed that there's nothing they can do for me.
The item I ordered was inventoried incorrectly in their warehouse showing on the website that they had multiple in stock. Based on thier mistake and the false advertising I ordered and paid for the item. After immediately contacting them once the incorrect parts arrived, I requested the correct parts be sent and I was told that all of inventory was sold and the item was discontinued.
At this point they want me to buy another similar item for more than double the cost... pay for the new item out of pocket and later down the line they'll refund me my money once the refused package arrives at their warehouse. So... I'm out of almost $500, I don't have the item I ordered, nor will I ever get it, oh and I'll get my money back once they decide I should have it back.
They're lying, deceitful small time crooks and they take advantage of people's hard earned money. Shame on them!
I will never buy anything else from them again and nor should anyone else.
I will post this review on all jeep and 4x4 forums as well as all major jeep and 4x4 youtube channels. Hopefully I can save some headaches for the next person.
