After having one too many bad experiences buying make up brushes from amazon and hearing nothing but good things from beauty YouTubers, I decided to try some Morphe Brushes.

I spent forever checking out their extensive collection of make up brushes. I love that they have highly specialized brushes (like ones specifically meant for applying nose contour) that are broken down into categories (powder, foundation, contour, etc.). I also couldn't believe the prices. I found them to be extremely reasonable ($14 for a bronzer brush that would have cost me $36 at Sephora).

I placed my initial order, only to realize a couple days later that I had completely forgotten a few crucial items. I read their FAQ and saw that if you needed to make changes to an order, it must be done within 2 hours of placing it. Ugh. I saw that my order was still listed as unfulfilled so I decided to shoot them an e-mail. It never hurts to ask, right?

The next business day I received a reply telling me to call customer service as soon as possible to try and get my items added to my order. I did just that and found out that the order was currently being processed. Double ugh. However, all was not lost. The girl I spoke to gave me a 15% off coupon code and told me to go ahead and place a separate order. She had me e-mail her my new order number and gave me free rush processing so I could receive all my items at the same time.

Wow. I totally wasn't expecting that. I couldn't believe how helpful everyone was. They really went above and beyond. The only negative thing that I can think of to say is their processing and shipping time, but that's only because they're wildly popular. They work hard to try and keep up with demand.

Tip for consumers:
Before making an order, check out some beauty YouTube channels. Many of them will have coupon codes for Morphe. I know for sure that NikkieTutorials has one.

I have loved and worn AA since about 2007. Recently I placed an online order. I was extremely pleased that everything was included and in the correct size/color. The problem came when I started to try stuff on.

I opened up the small pouch that contained my sheer jersey extreme deep v in truffle ($24). It had an extremely obvious rust orange discoloration where it had been folded around the cardboard insert in the pouch. Oh no!

I contacted customer service via email explaining what happened. Within 24 hours, a representative named Emily had written me back with a prepaid label attached to her message. I wrote her back a couple times to ask questions about the process and was promptly responded to the same day.

This was probably one of the best customer service experiences I've had. Not only are their clothes of the highest quality, but they're customer service is on point. I couldn't be happier to be a customer.

Tip for consumers:
Don't scoff at the higher price tag for their items. Remember they're made in the states and an amazing quality. I still have items from the late 00's. If you've never felt AA cotton, you are in for a treat. I recommend their zip up flex fleece hoodie (black and cranberry are my favorite!).

I ordered a product that turned out to be a complete piece of junk. Literally junk, it barely functions. This was marked as a final sale item. I thought that under the circumstances of it being completely faulty, opensky would understand and help me out. Nope. I'm still wading through "customer service" hell.

I am well aware at this point that companies sell their products through them. Guess what? So does Amazon! Amazon also stands behind EVERY company that sells through them and will step in to help you if you need ANY assistance. Not opensky. They just tell you to figure it out with the company and send you on your way. Awesome.

All I can do is keep trying to get my money back. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Go to Amazon where you're pretty much guaranteed not to get screwed over.

Tip for consumers:
My tip? DON'T USE THE SITE.
