They are cunning. It would take you three steps to cancel subscription. In each steps you have to scroll at the bottom of page and click continue cancellation. It's shrewdly designed to make you fell you I've canceled the subscription but it continued. I almos paid for 9 months. My mistake that I was not checking the credit card statement.

In our terms, we state that you may go through the cancellation process on your own through your account settings after logging into the site or the app. You may also initiate the cancellation of a subscription by sending an email to support@scribd.com or submitting a cancellation request through the Scribd Support website. Unless you cancel your subscription prior to the end of your free trial, we (or our third-party payment processor) will begin charging your payment method on a recurring basis for the subscription fee (plus any applicable taxes and other charges) until you cancel your subscription.
You’ll know that your account has been successfully canceled when you see the following message displayed: "Successfully canceled your membership. This may take a few seconds to take effect." Also, we'll also send you a confirmation email to the email address registered to your Scribd account that the subscription was canceled. If you have not received a confirmation email or message, it is not guaranteed that your subscription has been canceled.
