Bought a D5500 DSLR camera from Nikon less than 2.5 years ago from in Canada. The camera died. I had to spend for shipping to Nikon service centre... terrible customer service. Then they asked a whopping $292 just to replace a power card! Couldn't believe it. Didn't fix it, not buying another Nikon anymore. If this happens *******@NikoCanada it can happen to Nikon stores elsewhere in the world, the product is probaly manufactured at the same location in FarEast.
My 3 yr old Nikon DSLR D5500 suddenly went dead. Contacted Nikon; guess what, not only I have to pay for the repair, I have to pay shipping and handling to Nikon. What a great product and customer support. My old Sony, Canon, Panasonic and even very old Mintolta - they are all alive and kicking. Not the Nikon! Just flagging this so that you know what you are spending for.
A couple of years ago, I wrote a critical review about the lack of cooperation from the self publishing company Onlinegatha.com. I was frustrated as the company didn't honour my investments those days. Much water have flown under the bridge now and things are different. With intervention from its CEO Sumit and CFO Raunak, I have started receiving cooperation from the company once again. They have designed a nice web site for me www.tabdiary.com and I believe things have taken a turn in the right direction. I have invested Rs. 10,000 again towards marketing of my books and and I hope the momentum of mutual cooperation is maintained for days to come.
