I have used many agency's and I actually work for several companies as a nanny & part time sitter.
Of course you have good agency's and bad ones but Nanny Counsel is a Bad ONE they DO NOT SCREEN the nannys and DO NOT LOOK FOR Nannys or Sitters until they have a client that needs one.
So basically once you have paid the fee then they start recruiting anyone they can find to make the money. Crazy right? Well trust me this one and one of the other New agency's in Nashville are the same. The agency's popping up all over and have no real experience.
Do your research and go with a company that has been in business a long time. That actually has real background checks through the TBI.

First of all this was an Indian wedding of about 500 people or more at the Symphony Center. There were supposed to be 20 kids and they waited to hire childcare until two days prior to the wedding. She had called around several places trying to get the cheapest price event though spending thousands on the wedding. The owner was nice enough to agree to take the job last minute.
After the first 20 kids arrived, then more than 45 kids and parents pushed there way in the child care open area. We had no doors and the parents were coming in and out. All of the sitters asked many of the parents to please stay outside of childcare but all ignored all of the sitters. The kids were suppose to get pizza!
All were very excited for pizza to be ordered. At 7pm, NO PIZZA, 8 pm none, 930pm the owner said does she need to order the pizza the kids are starving? The parents had an entire floor of food and dessert. NO ONE came down and it was almost 10 pm before they finally brought some cold pasta. None of the kids wanted. All were very disappointed.
The owner graciously agreed to accept all these extra kids but not for free! The girl posting agreed as long as we would allow the kids too come in. Just whatever to take the kids please please she said. I am a witness.
It is not right for someone to post such lies all over the internet after taking advantage of how hard we all worked that night.
Then to top it off she was suppose to be paid in cash that night, someone had gotten into purses at the venue and the wedding party took off and did not pay her the cash they agreed to at the end of the night.
