Ok, so I came in contact with Homeadvisor and they explained the process of obtaining leads for our company, which we began building back 2 months ago, and it sounded like a reasonable deal. I mean, yes I understand paying the membership fee, even though it was at $288, and then receiving charges for each lead, which they said woud be around $20. However, a few days later I find out im being charged 53.88 for a lead that I NEVER APPROVED NOR HAD I EVER SELECTED. Since I still was in the process of starting my business and obtaining my equipment, I first asked to place the leads on hold, until I would say I was ready. They agreed to do so but then after a couple of days they came right back on, and then charged me that ridiculous amount! Not to mention they never indicated they'd automatically turn back on! After I explicitly said to remain on hold, they activated it, and then they wouldn't refund the charge. After that, I was like Screw this, and changed my card number. Now according to them, I owe them over $700 in leads which I never approved nor chose to receive and almost all of them weren't legitmate anyway, and on top of that, they are threatening into sending all that amount into collections... to be honest, I'm speechless, like how do these people even sleep at night knowing very well about stealing so much from honest hard working individuals that are just trying to make a living... I don't even feel anger anymore, just disappointment knowing how far greed can take people.
TO ANYONE THAT IS STARTING A BUSINESS, ETC... PLEASE DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS OFFERS WITH THEM. I REPEAT. I REPEAT AND CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH. **************PLEASE DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS OFFERS WITH THEM. PROTECT YOUR MONEY, LEARN FROM OUR UNFORTUNATE EXPERIENCES AND LOOK FOR ALTERNATIVES INSTEAD!***********
