I ordered a pair of gloves online, last week, and I paid an extra fee to receive it today, on Monday 7th November as tomorrow is a friend's birthday. It is now 20:28 so I think it is reasonable to assume that my order will not be delivered today... How disappointing. And I paid extra to get special delivery, on a specific day as specified on the website.

Disappointing and poor service from a luxury brand like Ted Baker. Will never buy again.

I booked a handyman from TaskRabbit yesterday. The handyman did a great job. However he did not complete the work and could not attach a bookcase properly because a screw was missing. He told me to get the missing screw, tell him through the chat when I have it and he would come back to finish the job free of charge (it takes 2 minutes to finish it). In the meantime, I gave the handyman 5 stars review, a 10% tip and I allowed him to charge 1h45min although he worked 1h31min. It is important for him to come back to put that screw as the bookcase is in my 5 year old's bedroom and needs to be properly secure or it may tip over and cause serious injuries. I got the missing screw but the chat with the handyman has been deactivated by TaskRabbit. I called Customer Service who said the chat can't be re-activated (so basically they refuse to allow me to communicate with the handyman who did the job) and told me to book another appointment (at £40/h)... I am speechless... Seriously? Is it TaskRabbit's work ethics? The handyman did not finish the job, he admitted it himself, he offered to come back to finish the job as he knows it is just a 2 minute job. On top of that, I gave him 5 stars review, a 10% tip and I allowed him to charge an extra 14 minutes, yet TaskRabbit are trying to milk me and they don't care about the safety of my 5 year old child? The cabinet is not secure properly, the job is not complete. How low can one get? For what? A few quids? This is the most disgraceful handyman company ever, and I've dealt with bad ones in my life...

  • Sakaré

My friend (visiting me from overseas) and I were walking on the street when this salesman from Sakare invited us into the store. We walked in. My friend tried some of their products (hand cream, scrub...), and the products looked ok, but were way overpiced (£35 for a tiny 125ml handcream? Who do they think they are? Dior or something?). The salesman was so pushy (pushy is actually an understatement), he was trying to force her to buy stuff. When my friend said "I'll think of it", the salesman became rude. He told her "sorry is it too expensive for you? I know not everyone can afford that price". I just looked at my friend and we decided to leave. We did not walk into a store to get insulted. Not worth our breath to discuss with that type of people.

After seeing all the good reviews on Truspilot, I decided to give it a go and submitted 2 orders with Wordery (at 2 days interval as the first time i ordered, i forgot some items).
Firstly, when i submitted the orders, it did read against each item "up to 3-4 days delivery". But then after I submitted the order, I received an e-mail confirmation, and surprisingly, in the email confirmation, it read "your order will be with you withing 14 delivery days". What happened to the "3-4 days delivery" that they announced on their website?
Secondly, there is no way to track the progress. All you can see on the order status on their website is "order fulfilling". There is zero delivery estimates or so.
Thirdly, after a week, i received 4 emails from Wordery telling me that 4 (out of 7) of the items I ordered (in my 1st order) "have unfortunately been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances". I immediately contacted their customer service and asked if I could cancel the order in full since nothing had been dispatched yet and they have no idea when they can deliver. Customer service replied at 13:52 telling me that I was indeed allowed to cancel but that I would have to inform them asap, which is what i did: I replied at 13:57 asking them to cancel the order in full and to confirm back to me in writing once they have done it. I received no replies from their customer service. Then suddenly, 4 hours later, at 18:00, I received an automated email saying that 4 items (out of the 7 in my 1st order) have been dispatched...
Wow, what a poor and unethical practice... First they tell me that I could cancel the order but that I would have to inform them asap. I didt it, but then they ignored my request. What they did is pull some desperate strings at the last minute to get my order back on track and dispatch what they could (and they did not even dispatch everything by the way: only 4 items out of 7). I enquired about the other 3 items in my 1st order and about my 2nd order, but until now, still no replies from their non-existant customer service. Oh, and their website does not even have a phone number so you can't even speak to them directly.
Although this website has lots of positive feedbacks, if you scroll down and read all reviews, you will see it also has lots of negative feedbacks. Many users have had very negative experience with them, so shop at your own peril! As far as I am concerned, I will never buy anything from them ever again and will not even recommend them to my worst ennemy.

Tip for consumers:
Multiply by at least 5 all delivery timelines annuonced on their website

I received on 16th May at 08:58 an SMS from YODEL, telling me that my parcel would be delivered today. I had plans to go out but when I saw the SMS, I changed my plans and decided to stay at home and get the parcel before going out. I stayed at home the whole day. At 12:51, I received another SMS from YODEL saying that “sorry, we came but you were out”. Yeah right… I was at home the whole day. Nobody rang at my door. Bunch of liars…They did not even bother to come. It’s been 2 days now and still no updates from them, I tried to track my parcel online, on their incompetent online website, there is zero information or updates on my parcel. How poor. I will never buy from that store again because they use Yodel. In fact, I will never buy from any stores that use Yodel, ever again.

Tip for consumers:
If I were you, I will never buy from any stores that use Yodel, ever.

I bought a pair of shoes at farfetch.com. I tried the shoes 1 min
At home, then put them back into the box because they were too large and
Returned them to get a refund (their website say you may return the items
And get a full refund within 14 days). Unfortunately, they refused to
Refund me because they said I wore the shoes… Seriously? The shoes are
Brand new. There is not a single mark on the
Shoes, the soles are still perfect, and most of all, the huge tag is still
Attached to the shoes. Are they trying to say I wore the shoes outside,
With that huge tag on it? The funny thing is that on the huge tag, it
Reads "please note we will only accept returns if this label remains
Attached to the product". Well… The label is still on the shoes because I have
Never worn them, so why did they refuse to refund me? BEWARE and AVOID.
