We ordered a desk and when it arrived, it was damaged. It took weeks to get a replacement because it is almost impossible to reach anyone. You get caught up in an endless phone loop and never reach anyone. When you finally do, they put you on hold and you get disconnected or told someone will call you back. Their online chat is the same way. You wait for over 30 minutes and it disconnects you. So frustrating. We finally got a replacement but it took way too long and it still had a missing knob but wasn't worth following up on. Love the desk, but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Every time we travel, we get false alarms from either connection issues or sensors falling off the windows. Terrible since we never know if it is a false alarm and panic until we figure out what is going on. Of course 60 day return policy and it's been 65 days since we purchased. Do you research before buying!

We bought wedding rings here that we love, however, in order to keep the warranty in place on the rings we have to have them inspected every six months. That would be fine except we have gone to the store several times for the inspection to find the store not open on time. Usually it is a Sunday and they are supposed to open at 10:00 but we ave been there as late as 10:17 and they are still not open. Very inconvenient and when we called to express our frustration, all they had to say was they "had an issue opening". It has happened several times so I think it is just run poorly and very unprofessional.

I purchased an item for my husband's birthday and when he opened it it was defective. I contacted Boomstreet and was told you can only return terms within 48 hours of receipt. Horrible policy! How can you buy a gift for someone with that type of a policy? Beware!

Kohl's is a great store and website to shop at. They do take anything you buy back for any reason, but KEEP ALL receipts otherwise you only get the lowest price, which is typically 10% of what the original price was. Ouch! I bought a dress for $40 but got $4 back because I lost the receipt.

Tip for consumers:
If you go to a Kohl's store and can't find an item in your size, you can order it at the kiosk near customer service and have it shipped to your house for free!

Ordered an expensive (about $2000) bedroom set for my daughter and 3 times pieces were damaged. They would not even give us a small discount for our frustration. Luckily I work from home otherwise I really would have had a problem being there for so many deliveries. Even the delivery person made a comment about the poor quality and service we received. Management and the customer service team didn't seem too concerned. They said they do not give discounts for mistakes and that their only obligation is to delivery us the proper furniture no matter how many times it takes. Wow! Bad business-beware before purchasing!

I was using ShopAtHome regularly and all of a sudden I ordered a large item from JCPenney and should have received almost $40 in cashback, but didn't. ShopAtHome said I didn't order through them when I definitely did! I have been using it for dozens of purchases and then suddenly it doesn't work on my largest purchase. HMmmmm. Don't you find that strange? And they won't tell me where they got the information saying that I went through another site so I can investigate the transaction. Scam!
