5/15/20

As of today 5/15/2020, I've officially parted ways with Home Advisor. I'll try not to be so lengthy in my review. I'd like to start of by saying I should've listened to those who told me to stay away from Home Advisor being that its a total rip off, unfortunately I didn't listened and it cost me. To start things the sales rep at home advisor, were just that sales rep (close the deal by any means necessary) After they sold me and got me an account number they immediately starting sending job leads I had no idea how to work the site nonetheless I got used to it and found my way. They charge you random prices for job leads. Hopefully you are able to close them if not your are still stuck with paying for the lead that they send to everyone else and guess what, everyone else pays for the lead as well. Most times you're going to get people who are just looking or pricing services, and yes you get billed for someone who is just looking. I'm not going to bore you with every little issue that they have but let me assure you they have them and their only focus is making money on you. The straw that broke the camels back in my case is an issue I had while my leads were paused, and I continue to get billed for leads, I was told that I turned my leads on (which I didnt and essentially they told me I was lying) I was denied the option to speak to a manager, although a supervisor told me that he had just spoken to the manager and there is nothing they could do for me regarding taking money from my account for leads that I did not call while my leads were turned off. (Go Figure) I was told that a manager will be contacting me within 3 business days, that didn't happen so I called in myself to permanently deactivate my account. Of course they wanted to do whatever they could to prevent me from leaving EXCEPT what they should which is give me my money back. Instead they wanted to give me credits toward ripping me off more. I will admit in the past I have accepted credits after they attempted to rip me off. I did inform the last rep that I spoke to, that i was indeed going to leave truthful, informative, yet negative review. Save you money? You DONT NEED Home Advisor for your business. True it does cost money to make money but it doesn't have to cost this much. They are not invested in you... They are invested in your pockets. They only show customer service skills when you get ready to cancel or when they are trying to get you to come aboard. You will pay more for fake leads than actual real ones. TOTAL RIP OFF!
