I humbly disagree with Bernard about supplement-geek.com's review. Of course everyone knows you cannot do human testing of new products without going through a rigorous protocol. I was a research coordinator with a major university a while back, using cancer protocols, so I'm familiar with research. HOWEVER, the products supplement-geek reviews are supplements (things people are already buying and using) with ingredients people already have in our bodies or things we have all been eating or taking all of our lives!! Supplement-geek.com reviews "claims"that these supplement companies make about their products. It's different than cancer drugs or other new drugs or combinations. All Supplement-geek is pointing out in some cases is that no human studies have been done to correlate the claims with some scientific proof! He uses PubMed.gov, ClinicalTrials.gov, NIH, and other reputable sites for his information. He never says anyone should or should NOT buy anything. It is just information for consumers to use. As for ads, which website DOESN'T have ads??? No one is COMMANDING anyone to press the ad buttons. These are the reasons I humbly disagree with you. I HAVE NEVER MET NOR AM I RELATED TO Supplement-geek.com.
They don't ship when they say they will, they won't cancel an order they forgot to ship, their customer service is non-existent, their communication is terrible. Don't risk a terrible consumer experience by doing business with these idiots!
Products came smashed and no protective packaging sent photos as requested and they didn't believe me , won't be shopping here again
Huge SCAM!!! - I read where you could get a free trail for the Pure Acai Berry Product from Advanced Wellness Research. All I had to do was pay $4.99 for shipping. Seemed harmless. I had 30 days to return product for a full refund if unhappy for any reason. This is posted on their website. After receiving the product within 5 days of having the product my debit card was charged $78.81. When I called to inquire they stated I had to cancel within 14 days. I explained that wasn't on their website it clearly stated 30 day money back guarantee. I explained they needed to cancel any future shipments which they fully intended to send without my authorization because I was not paying $78.81 for any 30 day supply of pills. Not to mention it does not work. Please do not fall into this scam. I still don't have any refund of my money. Looks like a total loss.
Their customer service is laughable. I have ordered product twice. First time paid for overnight shipping that didnt come til 10 days later. Just ordered something on 7/31/14. Standard shipping. .was told 5 days. Received an email on Aug 12(said it was just shipped). Called s/w Priscilla (she is non-challant) she replied " oh it was on backorder. No courtesy call or email to notify me. If they ever get their act together, they would be ok. If you are impatient...go somewhere else. It's gonna take awhile.
Neurostin REALLY HELPS me think better. If it helps, or not, probably depends on the problem. Doctors prescribe meds and then check to find out if they work. Why should supplements be different?
Scam - HI-- pressure phone sales "people". Will get you one way or another to give them your credit card details--then its all over. Their only interest is getting your $2495.00 !!! for the "testosterone cream" . They claim that the procedure is that a "doctor" will call you --and --only after you have had a blood test ---and its analysed by (their) doctor AND he/she decides you are "suitable" --then you will proceed with the "programme." Here is what happened to me:- I had a fatigue problem and thought that this may help--mistake no.1--see your own doctor first!! I was talked into a 400.00 payment to get started ,and some days layer a "doctor" (medicare provider number supplied--but I don't think that makes them a doctor) calle me and asked me a list of standard questions--and then sent me a Pathology request form--which I have subsequently lost. I tried for days to contact the "doctor" and could only slueth out a Physiotherapy clinic in Adelaide--who said she wasnt there and "doesn't take messages"--and since then Supplemax says "she doesn't work for us any more" 30 days layer my Credit Card was billed 197.00--as if the "programme" has started--but I havent had any "cream" delivered--nor has any "doctor" looked at my Pathology results (which I still havent had) to authorise this Prescription medication under Aust Govt guidelines (or not). Called Supplemax, who said --its my fault--and that the pathology should be still done and the Office Manager!! must be notified because "we have thousands of tests done and after 5 days the blood is scrapped" ??No mention about who is going to "analyse" the blood from the blood test --maybe the Office Manager!! I asked --(tricked them by calling from a number they didnt have--they thought I was a new "customer")-what happens if the Supplemax "doctor" says go ahead--and my own G.P. says not suitable? Reply--"we will send you the medication anyway, and it up to you if you use it"!!!!Preposterous and illegal under the Act! They will threaten you with your "verbal (recorded) contract " as if there is no possible way out of it--but the facts here are that they are debiting my card in breach of their own specified procedures!!--and obviously intend to keep debiting it regardless. They do not answer or return calls--and especially ignore emails-- (once you have given your details, your phone number is in their system--and they dont/wont answer once they have your "contract" in place. If you deal with this outfit --beware!!--demand that all details be in written form --email or paper mail--including all conditions, procedures and payments. If they balk at this --then they are not legitimate --or 'ethical", and shouldn't be dealt with. There are plenty of other suppliers of the same products, I'm sure. I am now proceeding with Legal action through a well-known legal firm who loves this field, and expect to win with costs at very least. STAY AWAY FROM SUPPLEMAX--YOU CANT AFFORD THEM!!!
order placed and money taken in December, order status updated to "refunded", but not a penny returned, and after some initial lies (order will be re-shipped, money was already sent, we'll provide proof of refund - none of these ever happened) by the "owner" Mike Long, now there is silence to voice mail, email, contact form... Burn your money instead, at least it will keep you warm.
I discovered this website while at a conference for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and it really is a great concept. Many people take vitamins and supplements, but what they often are paying for is the marketing and packaging of the ingredients. In a typical vitamin pill most of it is actually just filler and not the vitamin....not to mention the bottle itself is expensive to produce. What this company offers is a way to customize an individual's supplements in just a few pills and your doctors can prescribe whatever dosage they recommend for you rather than what the company thinks will sell to the masses. Great concept and well executed.
This Company is a HUGE SCAM BUYER BEWARE !!! (Corp Name) New Health Ventures -> Nutrition Arsenal nutritionarsenal.com / Elite Nutrition elitenutrition.com These guys are a big scam !!!! I ordered 10 lbs of protein and some additional suppliments equling over $200.00. They supposly sent it out but it never was received. So I guess according to ups they sent it and did not require a signiture. Which has me raising this question ? who in the world ships over $200.00 dollars in Product and does not require a signiture ? To the say the least the package was never received on my end anyway. If they did sent it it was stolen due to them leaving in the lobby of my apartment building. I attempted to contact the seller regarding this issue and got no where ! I called them at least 10 times and left messages, emailed them numerous times and then I finally got a response. They Did not make any attempt at any point in time to assist me or even acknowledge my problem. Let alone assume responsibility for their incompetence. Not one attempt to show empathy or compassion for my situation. I would NOT recommend this company to ANYONE unless you are a fan of getting ripped off as well as a bunch of un needed and wanted stress and aggrivation. Couple of signs that these people are a huge red flag .... 1.) They Keep changing their name 2.) They do not accept paypal. 3.) They won't answer their phone. All I did was try to order some product from this guys and ended up waisting 20 + hrs of my life(Between , Ups, These guys and my bank) and $200.00. FYI - Still no product !!!! Buyer beware !!!!! These don't give a $#*! about your business and won't think twice about ripping you off !
Free Delivery Scammers There website states free delivery on orders over £35. They specifically state that the delivery charge will be refunded back to your PayPal account after the order has been placed. They will not refund the delivery charges back to you & will not reply to emails. I feel that i was duped into purchasing as they state free delivery. Dont expect them to cooperate, they only want your money. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
There are many so called "super fruit" drinks out on the market these days ranging from the MLM monavie bottles to what you can buy at whole foods. The bottom line is the juice and anti-oxidants from these types of supplements are beneficial for you and it is more a matter of which one to buy. I have tried youth juice and it tastes pretty good and for the price is a solid deal and therefore I do recommend it to friends and family. I have also simply bought bottles of acai/noni from whole foods and those also cost around $30 for a months supply. When I recommend these types of things it often comes down to cost. If you can afford to have a monthly shipment of a juice come to your door then this isn't a bad deal. If you are not eating a handful of berries a day, then a juice like this is a good way to supplement your diet.
This a GREAT site to get very inexpensive supplements. HOWEVER, ONLY use a prepaid card to purchase your items. My brother and I both had our debit card numbers stolen from them and charged with almost $1000 each of fradgulent activity which thankfully our banks reversed the charges. The 2nd time I ordered from them I called them and let them know that I was using a prepaid card because of the fradgulent activity and they even admitted that they knew card numbers were being stolen but said the issue was taken care of. I didn't have an issue with the prepaid card but I still will never trust them again and will continue using a prepaid card whenever I order from them.
This is the most crooked website I have ever ssen. I went online yesterday to see their bracelet that was advertised on television. I received a email today stating that I had ordered 6 bracelets and some other crap and the bill was for $231.46. That is one crooked website, so don't even go to the website. If you do, you will receive a bill for merchandise that you did not order.
its scam website for food supplement, i did place order and i havnt receive my order and it cost me 105 pound , and the company they havnt got fone number, the only way to get intouch is by mail and isnt working so basically for pay and u don't get any thing . so never ever order any thing from this website its scam never trust the site.

Hi welcome to my latest review, today we're looking at a company called xtend-life.com. The offer an anti ageing skin care line, now I think it's fair to say we've heard it all and frankly a little tired of products promising the world and delivering nothing more than whats known as the placebo effect. Do these products fall into that category? yes as in they do claim to have the answer to wrinkles, age spots, inflammation, lines circles and bags around the eyes. Do the products live up to it's promise? thats what we're going to find out. Before we go further, the site it's self is decent user friendly and thorough which i found helpful. Is the site transparent? yes everything you want to know about them and their products are there for consumers to really get an overall idea of what there about? their methodology, ingredients and ultimately why we should be using their products, it even shows you lab results. preliminary things like this. They offer products for men and woman. I'd just like to say going of subject for a bit that if your under 23 and you use anti ageing skin care products your going to be disappointed simply because you have no business using them your 23 making your review irrelevant, a person in their 30's is a more suitable candidate agree? the same goes for supplements and going back to the placebo effect well if a product preforms one day and not the next you probably don't need it as the body has a sufficient supply and therefore your problem may lie elsewhere, deficiency in some other area, Well thats my opinion on the matter. I'd also like to add that age is inevitable and all products are most likely to only have a subtle effect on your skin or problem area. I wrote to extend-life explaining that as part of my research for an article on anti ageing skin care products It's paramount that i sample 2 of their most recommended products. The replied offering 2 of their most recommended products thanking me for my enquiry and asking for a delivery address. I'm excited to say the least. Stay tuned in the coming weeks to see how their products rate on a scale of? they work? or don't work, it's as simple as that. thanks for reading. Rains. (apologies for any typos)
I unknowingly did not read the supposed smallprint? I recieved the acia berry within 3 days thinking i was only paying $5.14 to which i had an emailed invoice for with no mention of the additional charges ?I have checked my bank statement and they have charged me in excess of £141 extra I live in england so have found it difficult to pursue the complaint i strongly oppose to them taking money from my account, for charges not stated. i have not recieved the colon product which they said they had sent out so surely they have broken their terms and conditions? please be warned do not sign up for this product ..this companty must be making vast profits. if anyone has any great advise how to take this further please help
After placing your order, they instantly charge your card and email you saying thanks for your order but with no information at all and your card will be charged from Superbalife International which by the way is the main company that also sells other supplements. I did not receive an invoice so calling up customer service to talk to a complete dunce who tells me it takes 48hrs for it to process and you will get it then. But when I ask, well why was my credit card charged already?, he said ok I will send the invoice. I had to call back 3hrs later and ask again.. He then tells me I forwarded it to our email department (total bull$#*!) and I should get it soon. Take in mind the company for longinexx is located in London but you get charged and supposedly shipped from CA. I tried calling SALES over the weekend because customer is closed and guess what, EVEN WORSE customer service. I was cut off and told to call on Monday, laughed at, and then hung up on. You got to be kidding me.... So at this point, BBB, Yelp, ripoffreport will be getting bad reviews from me. Worse case I will need to file with BBB and my CC company for fraud. What is the different between digestacure and digestaqure? In 2010 I used 4 bottles and it was in the purple bottles I notice white bottles now please explain this to me.
THEY KEEP SENDING SHIPMENTS AFTER YOU ASKED THEM NOT TO. ADVISED WOULD PURCHASE LOCALLY IF DESIRED TO CONTINUE WITH PRODUCT. THEY KEEP SENDING AND TRYING TO SELL OTHER ITEMS AFTER REPEATEDLY TO STOP. NOW STARTING TO BILL FOR PRODUCT.
I ordered a few supplements from this website on 25 May. They said they would price match certain products. I got a phone call, I think it was the same day, from some unidentified man involved with this website who told me they wouldn't price match one of the supplements, so I said in that case I didn't want that item after all. The order took quite a while to arrive, 4 June, and when it arrived, the supplement I cancelled was included, two others weren't, but there was no explanation about why not, and they kept all of the money that they had taken at the time of the order through their website, which was significantly more than the prices of the items I received. I complained several times by e-mail and contact form, cancelling the items that hadn't arrived, asking for a return label to return the unwanted item, and asking for a refund of the overpayment, and it was only when I said I was about to report them to trading standards that I received an e-mail from somebody calling himself Tim Willcox, making excuses about having had a lot of orders at the time (I doubt that very much), admitting that the service was poor, and saying that he would make an immediate refund to my card. It was supposed to appear within 48 hours or so. He said that on 28 June, there has never been a refund (I am writing this on 23 July 2011), and I e-mailed another complaint about this on 6 July and never had another reply or any refund. Now I'm going to have to see if I can get some of the money back through the bank due to fraud and have to complain to trading standards about them. Stay well away from these people. There are plenty of websites selling supplements that are honest and reputable to buy from.
This place is a joke. I've ordered my supplements from them for about a year, and in the last month no one seems to know what is going on, my orders are getting lost, customer service is atrocious, and the quality of the products I have gotten have seriously deteriorated. AVOID THIS COMPANY. They will not be getting my business any longer.
never buy from them. Bunch of crooks. I placed an order on 10th julyOrder #100933357 Even after 100 days I haven't recieved it. There is no response form their customer support. Lost $ 100. Bunch of crooks.
This is a con site parent group is Dijital Hub who own various domains all with clothing and other products like whey proteins. If you have purchased from them contact your credit card company to begin charge back claims, I've done an extensive search on them and have found they no longer trade from their various premises and have no forwarding address, for more information that may assist with any charge back rights please visit this link to my post about rebelrox.co.uk who they also trade as... http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.rebelrox.co.uk
This site has the best prices on the web for Gilette blades. I did not give it 5 stars since the shipping charges are exhorbent. Substantively, this makes the buy not as good as you think it will be; however, it still beats Amazon!
Placed a couple of order at them and their service was fine. The prices were very competitive as well and the delivery fees and service were very good, considering also the distance and weight of the products. Will buy again from them.
