Shipping is always expensive, however, even for repeat customers. And if you need anything returned, they always charge an $8 fee to return items. You can't really exchange clothes for a new size, either, since sales only last a few days. By the time you've bought something and it arrives, it's gone from the website. So if it doesn't fit correctly, you have to pay another $8 (on top of the $9 shipping fee and price of item), only to get store credit. It makes me think long and hard about how badly I want something, because the extra fees can really add up, and you're left with nothing but credit.

I have been shopping Zulily for at least 15 years (?)... Their customer service is outstanding... One Xmas I had purchased, for my sons (2) speed cars way before Xmas... I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it.
