They started as a real, legitimate company a few years ago. I made purchases that were completely fine, though their turn around time was long. In the last year, I have made purchases that are just a straight rip off. In the case of shoes, they sell them as European leather with even European sizes and make them appear as comfy leather. Once delivered, they are the shoes you would find in a $5-$10 shoes manufactured in China. That's just the beginning. Cheap clothes, cheap plastics, knock offs, $99 cent store decor, etc. RUN!

Zulily offers not only great variety, but most importantly, the company has fantastic customer service. Hands down, this is why I keep shopping with them above all others. Do you have to wait longer for your items compared to other online shops? Yes, BUT I don't mind because it's worth it because I've found soooo many great items AND the customer service is top notch. If I had any issue with an item I've purchased, it was resolved immediately. I'm a fan of this company.

I have been a huge fan of Zulily for many years and have introduced quite a few people to this site as well due to the quantity of products available from them. However I am only going to rate them a 4. Although the quality and quantity of the majority of their items has improved over time, my real issues have to do with sizing. On several of my favorite brands including, but not limited to, Suzanne Betro, Amaryllis, and Simply Couture, the information listed on their sizing charts is so inaccurate that an XL blouse may fit like a Large and yet another blouse in XL from the same brand can fit like a 2X. There is NO continuity in sizing. And these are not the only brands where this is an issue. I have seen comments from other people regarding the sizing inaccuracy for different brands yet I have seen no improvement. However, overall Zulily's quality is decent and the prices are usually better than I would have to pay online elsewhere. If they could just work on their sizing and/or quality control to make the fit more reliable I would be a much happier buyer.

Pet Peeve: I get very frustrated when an item that is pictured for the different departments is not available to buy.

I have purchased from Zulily for years and have had no issues. There are plentiful choices regarding company's and their products. They have had a size chart for anything that I have purchased. Everything that I have purchased has been of good quality. I have purchased clothes, toys, memorabilia and accessories.
I like that they give you the choice to hold items until all are ready to ship, therefore; there is only one shipping charge at a lower rate.
I like that they give you your daily overview of what is on sale. I can view at a glance to see if there is an items or brand that interest me.
I have needed to call a few times because I have clicked the wrong button when ordering and their customer service is beyond today's standards. I actually talked with a person (a real live person) every time and that person was polite and helpful.

Zulily can be addictive, so watch out! It is SO easy to shop when you get an email every day of things you'll probably like, The sizing and quality of clothing is variable, so read the sizing charts, which are sometimes helpful, and the reviews, which give you an idea of things to avoid. I love the low-priced jewelry and home decor items, all of which are usually decent quality and as pictured. When things aren't up to my standards, I do complain and often they'll give a $5 credit to compensate.

I've been shopping on Zulily for a few years and learned the hard way to check the sizing charts and be judicious with the brands. Zulily is a wonderful place to find name brands at reduced pricing and european brands, not generally available in stores. But I have a couple of rules for shopping on Zulily: 1) Know your measurement and check the sizing chart. 2) Pay attention to the fabric description and the model's measurements and size wearing if given. 3) Err on the side of caution, if you're not sure. 4) If you can't wait 3+ weeks to receive it don't order. 5) Check the reviews if available, this is a new feature on Zulily but it will save you some aggravation. Happy bargain hunting!

I have a broad range of products I have purchased on Zulily. Womens, mens and boys clothing, homegoods(bedding, storage bins, metal TP holder, rugs) and womens and boys shoes and I have been happy with 90 percent of it. My husband has slowed me down here in the last couple of weeks as he thinks I am spending way too much, he doesn't understand I haven't been in a walmart or target in months and I don't go to malls. There is deals to be had just watch out for overseas companies and sizes from foreign designers. Shipping can take a while depending on the product so read the dates when it tells you approximately, when the product doesn't come in they tell you and give you your money back and a store credit so unless your hanging your hat on something always keep that in the back of your head. I bet I have 75-80 things total and it only happened twice. I have also had the product damaged when I got it happen a couple of times, a rip in the shoulder of a sweater and the seam of a pair of pants had a tear. Love the shoes, pick your brand and stick with the ones you have heard of, no name shoes at cheap prices mean they are not worth wearing. I have bad feet and so spend extra to get good shoes. Muck Lucs, Ryka, etc are great shoe names you spend a little more but saves on department store prices. I live in Iowa and we don't have very many department stores, we have Kohls and Von Maur so having it delivered to my doorstep is great for me. The only thing I don't like is if you just want a different size you have to wait for the product in that color to come up again on the site and it varies so you have to have patience.
