I check the website daily - love getting the morning emails with highlights. Love the variety and prices. The only thing I wish was better was the return policy but whenever I've felt the issue has been from their side they have been very accommodating. Unfortunately, sometimes the size charts do not match the item you are looking at, i. E. you are looking at size 4x and the size chart only goes through 3x. I have always had good luck with items that did not come on time or came damaged. They typically refund purchase price and let you dispose of the damaged items. They often give $10 credits to spend on your next purchase if you are dissatisfied with the items. With clothing/shoes that do not fit, they do charge restock fee which reduces the amount of your refund. That is why it is important to check the size charts carefully.
The prices are reasonable, but the quality is frequently not good. A Tee shirt that begins to "pill" after a half day of wearing is not so cute anymore. Also, the shipping charges are too high, so you're really not saving as much as you think you are. A kitchen gadget that is only $4.99, but the shipping charges are $5.99 is no bargain!

Where I live I depend on shopping on line and the website is attractive. I have bought many times over the years and called and complained at least half the time. Many times the pictures and descriptions are deceiving. I recently bought a much needed set of garden tools that didn't come right away and when they arrived they were a size scale for a two year old. Very dissatisfied. They are useless to me.
I bought a tiara and it arrived with stones missing and it weighed much to much for anyone to use, play with etc. no mention of that in description. It matters to be accurate And be honest with description and quality. Many things come weeks after the order and then when they arrive it's pick up the phone again. Call and complain. Either they offer refund, store credit or return. It seems a problem for zulily and me.

When I buy from a brand I know and trust, I get the quality that I know and trust. I bought an item that arrived broken (the vendor shipped it to Zulily not knowing it was broken) and when I contacted to a replacement/refund. I was refunded the price of the item and given a $5 credit to my Zulily account. Shipping costs alone were $7.99 and I was told to keep the defective product. I lost money on the transaction, not much, but that's not very good customer service. I have had better prices buying direct from the brand than going through Zulily.
Zulily has many great deals some better than others but you have to know prices and also what you want to pay. I have gotten many great deals with prices way below other places. There return policies are pretty good also if you need too. I often find things I love (like) on Zulily. However, I sometimes find them cheaper on a two day delivery site. I rarely buy breakables because they have arrived broken and I was reimbursed early on, then not at all, then reimbursed again. The policy seems to keep changing. If you want to keep customers happy then consistency is key. This includes other types of businesses too. Take McDonald's for instance. Customers keep coming back because they know that they can get what they ordered and prepared the same way as the last time they were there. Women's plus sizes should be separate from young women's plus sizes. Our bodies are shaped differently as we age. When I buy some plus sizes, they do not adhere to the size chart many times. I do like the 2 or 3 pay plans.
I have bought a number of healthy snack foods, spices, and kitchen and office supplies -- the few times I had a major quality issue and sent Zulily a photo of the problem, they gave me a credit, no other questions asked. People need to be aware that shipping is not immediate like with full-price places. Generally I avoid clothing --- very little made in the U.S. and a lot of polyester. But for the upscale food and kitchen brands -- I think it is a great deal.

I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it.
