I give you fair warning: I have only bought Christmas ornaments on Zulily. They are my hobby/obsession. So far everything has been wonderful. The pictures don't always do justice to the merchandise so my experience has been very positive. I am amazed by the variety of items, and how quickly some of them sell out. Prices are good compared to other sites with similar items. The wait time can seem like forever, but I like checking on my orders and counting the days. It's just like Christmas.

One piece was broken in half when received. I called Zulily and was given full credit on my credit card. That was quick and easy, but the item is no longer available and no wait list. I'm disappointed that I can't get another set. I've spent hundreds of dollars on Zulily items and I'm well pleased with most of them. If you are a shopper (and know pretty much the prices of items), this is a great store. While there are some great deals, there are also some very overpriced items. Quality of items is usually good and packing of items for shipping is usually spot on. If buying clothes or shoes, I'd suggest sticking to Brands that you know how they fit. China is where much of the clothing comes from and fit can be "iffy". Also with Zulily you must be patient as most items may be received 3 weeks after you placed your order. While now you can return items, the return shipping fee is nearly $9.00 so unless you are shipping back more than one item, return shipping is quite expensive! Lastly, your return monies are for store credit only; your money is not returned to your method of payment. A great positive is all my experiences with Zulily customer service have been wonderful.

Sure, there is always room for improvement in any company, but you are doing very well! If I have had a problem you have always fixed it for me. Usually it has more to do with condition after shipping. I wear a bigger size and I find lots of clothing in that size but not things like coats and hoodies. I think your prices are very reasonable and, if anything, I find too many things that I like!
I have used Zulily for a number of years and love some of their unique products. Their service either over the phone or by email is excellent but am beginning to use them less for the following reasons:-
1. Many of them are no cheaper than in the stores.
2. Some of the craft products are more expensive.
3. Shipping has gone up so that if the discount is small it takes away the difference.
4 it often takes a long while for them to ship something, especially when it gets transferred to the post office.
Need more customer reviews or more details of products especially clothing. It's frustrating when the item doesn't really live up to the pic or description and your return fee is so ridiculously high.

Answer: I have never ordered shoes from them but I agree that they likely vary according to brand. Contrary to other comments (that I am very suspicious of...) I have never waited a long time and the quality has always been as shown. There are so many rip-off sites out there and I suspect some hire people to post phony negative reviews on the 'good' sites. I do not recommend searching for cheaper products - you'll end up on a bogus, cheap site. I now research every site name and sift through comments - its exhausting but has saved me from spending money on sites that were not good.

The sizes are never right (a small may fit someone that wears a large or it may be too small for an infant) and the quality sucks (the fabric on a dress I bought is so thin you can see through 4 layers). Think of Zulily like Marshalls or TJMaxx. That's what Zulily is, in online form. I just bought a hoodie from them, and researched the brand before I bought it. The particular hoodie was being discontinued, so they were selling it very cheaply. I bought it, and it is the real deal, originally $89. So research the brand. And don't expect your purchase quickly. They wait until they have enough orders to bulk purchase (another reason why their prices are low), before they buy. So it'll be a few weeks before you get it.
