When I was ordering my glasses I was not sure how my glasses would fit.I am truly so amazed by quality and accuracy of this glasses. I would recommend Zenni to all my family and friends,and for sure I am going to order another pair of prescription sunglasses. Zenni is the best in delivering what they promised to their customers.

Got my glasses from Zenni and it was not what I expected. Each lens looked extremely different from the other and it just looked really bad. Tried to get the lab to fix it and they said bc of my prescription there was nothing they could do. Yet I just got my new glasses from Eyebuydirect and it came out perfect. If they can get it right there is no reason why Zenni can't if they consider themselves professional glasses company. Will never buy from them again

Got my glasses from Zenni and it was not what I expected. Each lens looked extremely different from the other and it just looked really bad. Tried to get the lab to fix it and they said bc of my prescription there was nothing they could do. Yet I just got my new glasses from Eyebuydirect and it came out perfect. If they can get it right there is no reason why Zenni can't if they consider themselves professional glasses company. Will never buy from them again

Even though I only used this site for fun glasses and cheap basics to keep in my car ($6.95 including prescription lenses with no add ones) it's not worth the headache anymore. They manipulate you into adding the non reflective coating for $4.95. It's automatically added unless you notice and undo it. One time I ordered some aviators, and they looked like they were for a five year old: no return accepted. This time I ordered a style that I'd had before, figuring that would be safe. I ordered a 10% blue tint in one with the same frame I also with clear lenses. I called them and told them both black frames of the same style came in with clear lenses. They wanted a screen shot, which was ok. When I put them on the table to shot, I could see then that one of them did have a barely discernible blue tint. It was no where near the same exact tint color and percentage I had bought before from them, which I had lost. I could tell it was going to be a big deal, so I decided it wasn't worth my time, and won't be in the future. Better to spend more and be able to return or have a problem fixed easily. My prescription is very basic, but once you start adding on options or things you actually need, they cost a lot more. Choose a company with great customer service who doesn't make you go through hoops just to refuse your request anyway.

My glasses were lost in the mail, and when I called Zenni, I reached a call center overseas that was eitherunwilling or unable to assist me. In fact, the representative insisted that I conduct my own investigation to figure out what had happened to them. Worst of all, my glasses, for which I paid $70, were of shoddy workmanship. They're so flimsy that I worry that they won't last much at all. Don't buy from this company!

Loved the glasses but the magnetic sunglasses that were included did not fit properly and ruined the lenses. It took beyond the 14 day return period to show up. They are now refusing to stand behind their product. That was the second set of glasses and I would have ordered more but since they do not stand behind their product I cannot do that. Buyer beware.

I ordered 2 pairs of glasses and paid extra for Rush delivery for an upcoming road trip. One pair was rushed and the other wasn't. I contacted Zenni to learn that they didn't offer Rush on the second pair, even though they accepted my payment for Rush delivery. I asked why they didn't tell me that at the time I placed the order, so I might have selected a different pair. No answer and no refund. Won't use these clowns again.

I purchased sunglasses through Zenni and the cheap case they came in had a lining that melted and emitted something toxic that left a film on the glasses and ruined them. Zenni wouldn't refund and didn't care about the issue because it was past the 14 days. But the glasses were only a couple of months old. I do not recommend you purchase from Zenni.

Terrible customer service. I think it's a bot and you can't get to a real rep to help you with your issue.

I've ordered two pairs of glasses from this company. Both were "metal" and snapped in the middle. Customer service chat is just AI and you can't get anyone to help you. They were not helpful as they cited their 14 day return policy.

I bought a pair of "progressives" from this company and the cost went from $15 up to $80 real fast. Ok no problem, I paid it because I needed them. I received them and the prescription was all wrong, I can't even see out of them and guess what? They're not progressives! Confirmed with my own optometrist.

So I contact them hoping they'll let me return them for a full refund so I can get my glasses elsewhere. The answer I get? We'll send you a label and we will "inspect them" and it will take 14 business days. 14 BUSINESS DAYS! That's more than a month so they can decide whether they want to give me a partial refund. Really? I will be filing a dispute with my card because this is ridiculous. I have to now go buy another pair since these are unusable and I refuse to give these people a dime when they won't even offer reasonable customer service.

Go somewhere else.

I have diplopia and need prisms to correct this. Ordered 2 pair identical except for frames with prescription stating prisms, I paid for them and they sent me glasses with no prisms. I even took them to my optometrist and she said they did not have the prisms. I sent them back and I want a full refund for their mistake so I can go somewhere that fills the actual prescription. Have escalated to dispute on PayPal. My optometrist can also back me up that these glasses were without prisms.

We see a note in the database record of the order that the prescription your eye doctor provided was incorrect, but we do not see any note advising of the correct prescription or whatever mistake was made on the prescription provided by the eye doctor.

I ordered 2 pair of eyeglasses and 1 pair of sunglasses. Per their website measurement process, I needed a size xs frame. I found this odd, but, went along with it because I did the measuring 3 times.
These 2 pair of eyeglasses look like I bought kids glasses for my adult self. They are hideous looking on my face.
The sunglasses I ordered bigger because the ones I liked only came in a bigger frame size. They are how the eyeglass frames should actually be.
So, I reached out to customer service, no biggie, mistakes happen. These people, multiple agents, argued with me saying I'd have to pay shipping again. For their error! RIDICULOUS! So, I asked instead for a full refund and I'd just order elsewhere. They do not agree to that, either.
So, now apparently I'm going to have to dispute it with my bank. Because this company will not admit to their own error
I will never order from this awful company again.

Very difficult to get refund - multiple calls and chats later...did...
THEN I discover that I almost lost money... initial invoice: $56.85...
I paid return shipping: $22 and finally was refunded $46.90
In other words... I paid $32 towards trying on a pair of glasses that didn't work as promised... and I had to fight for what I did get...
Won't shop here ever again... and recommend you don't... M

Gave them my prescription as required. Selected "progressive" since that's what I have and want. The glasses that came were not progressive and, hence, useless to me. Kept chatting with their "support" for an hour to get money back, but they claimed I had applied for "single vision", a blatant lie or if it's something wrong with their shop. I was eventually offered a 50% refund minus shipping which I declined. I wanted all my money back. Don't use them.

I have been a zenni customer for years without issue. My most recent pair arrived and right out of the box I knew they were wrong. Upon further inspection the right lens was the incorrect prescription. No big deal, mistakes happen. So I reached out to customer service and they refused to send a replacement or issue a refund until they "inspected" the glasses. And that inspection process meant waiting a minimum of 3 weeks for a refund or 5 weeks for a replacement! Totally unacceptable! I will definitely be returning these, but I certainly won't be ordering any more from zenni!

Don't order! If they mess up you won't get a replacement or refund for over a month!

Purchased a pair of glasses from Zenni optical online, the glasses were supposed to have photo chromatic lenses, lenses that I get darker outdoors. The illustration and explanation both indicated the level of tint. Both are inaccurate and when I received my glasses, it barely had a slight bluish tent after being outdoors in the sunlight for 10 minutes. Their hustle is that they send you bad glasses, poorly made, substandard, ineffective and when you want a refund they only want to give you 50%. That's their scam. You lose either way.

You have been warned, They will sell you cheap and ineffective glasses and when you ask for a refund they will only offer you 50%, that’s their hustle

This company has the worst customer service and treats you like another number with their automated rehearsed responses. I purchased 22 pairs of frames from them and not a single one could be put toward their reward program that launched in 2021 when I bought those frames in prior years. They really show their appreciation for their valued customers. My last pair of frames had a manufacturing error and they wanted me to pay for shipping. Interesting. Good luck. This company has gone down the gutter.

I have been getting glasses from Zenni for at least 5 years. I have about 7 pairs. Mostly OK. However, now Zenni has narrowed the frame width on many models, including the ones that I want to reorder, and kept the same model number. So now, the glasses that I want to replace are way too narrow and won't fit. So be sure to check the measurements, especially the frame width, when ordering or re-ordering. This is bad business and very misleading and I suspect many customers will be very upset when their glasses don't fit.

I just ordered 2 pairs of glasses in desperation, as my last pair broke. I opted at check out for PayPal with 4 payments over time. It went through or so I thought. When I checked my bank acct to see if they had taken out a fourth of the total, I was shocked to find that they had taken out the full amount. I immediately called customer service and got a woman with a very heavy accent I could barely understand. She informed me because I selected the expedited option the payment could not be changed nor could the order be canceled. Even though it was less than 15 minutes since I placed the order. I just incurred a $4000 charge for a veterinary emergency so 4 payments was really needed. No where did I see that my order must be paid in full for that option or I would have only ordered one pair out of necessity. I have no complaints with the actual glasses. I've had several pairs from them in recent years with no issues. However their customer service is severely lacking and I am completely dissatisfied. In the future I will consider another on line eye glass retailer that is more reputable.

I had nothing but the issue with ordering my glasses that I needed an emergency replacement of. First, they took my payment but never process the order. Didn't find out until 3 days later. Then I had to reorder them and paid for express delivery. I didn't message about the status because the tracking never show anything. Found out on the 24 that it was at the fulfillment center in California wait for ting for FedX then tonight three more days later they told me got to the fulfillment center on the 26. They keep saying in 24hr I will have a tracking bit it been over 72 and nothing but the same lie.

Quality has tanked since they got big. Customer service lies. Lenses arent right on 3 pairs and I'm told to try and get used to them. Paid for express delivery for 2 pairs, one arrived, one didnt. The 2nd pair coming when I'm out of town. FedEx says they have to change the address. Zenni says sorry, label is printed. Asked to speak to a supervisor. Was told I didnt need to. I asked again. Was told no one was available, they would call me back. LIE. Not a company I can trust anymore

Frames were way too flimsy, sent them back.? I have a video of the frames actually squeaking (can't post here because sitejabber is saying it's too short?), sent the video to Zenni also before returning the glasses. They keep putting me off on a refund, been a month since they actually received them back. Where is my money? We have order at least 15 pairs of glasses from Zenni in the past... so much for loyal customers

I've always gotten my prescription glasses from an optical shop, and I will continue to do so. The glasses I got from Zenni were terrible quality -- blurry, like they weren't even my prescription. Second, their blue blocking lenses which they claim on their site are among the clearest on the market, are actually an ugly yellow/green tint. So I got poor quality glasses that didn't correct my vision, plus lenses with an ugly, yellow/green highly visible tint to them. Customer service was terrible on this issue. They want to exchange, which doesn't help with QUALITY. It's not about the frames policy, it's that the lenses are garbage.

Tip for consumers:
avoid at all costs, they are cheap for a reason. there is no value if they are unusable

We wish to confirm that as a result of the blue light blocking technology that is built into the lens material, a slight tint may be detected, particularly when the glasses are held in front of a white background; consequently, our Blokz lenses are described on our website as virtually clear. Nevertheless, we are sorry that the tint is darker than you expected, and we want you to know that customers are always welcome to take advantage of our return policy which allows for glasses to be returned for reasons other than a manufacturing error or defect, while the glasses are still under warranty, for one of two options - 50% refund to the credit card used to purchase the glasses, excluding the shipping fee, or 100% store credit, which also excludes the shipping fee, and can be used to purchase a different item from our website. However, because you are also having problems with blurred vision and suspect that the prescription is incorrect, you may submit a copy of the prescription and pupillary distance (PD) measurement to us for verification. Once we have confirmed that both were entered correctly on the order, we will be happy to email you instructions to return the glasses to be inspected, and if the inspection results indicate that the glasses were manufactured incorrectly, you may choose to have them remade without the Blokz lenses or you may request a full refund. If these options were not made available to you when you contacted our Customer Service department, please give us another opportunity to properly assist you by emailing a copy of your prescription and PD to us at online_reviews@zennioptical.com and we will respond within 72 hours. Purchased progressive glasses and frames 2-14-2022, $131.00, two and a half months later the frames are delaminating all around the lens. Their warranty is only 30 days. They will not stand behind their frames. I'm 78 and have warn glasses since I was 8 years old and have never had frames crumble apart in less than 3 mo. All Zenni will do for me is a 10% discount on a non prescription pair of glasses and I would have to figure out how to get the lens exchanged. When I spoke to customer service they made me feel less than cared for. I am very disappointed in my purchase as I have just wasted $131.00 and I'm on fixed income.

Thank you for posting your Zenni review of your full-rim, oval, mixed-material, translucent green frame 7809724, with a frame width of 136 millimeters, which we were sorry to learn has deteriorating color splotches on the rims after you have had these near-range workspace progressive eyeglasses with our Blokz® blue-light-blocking feature for only approximately two months. We are also sorry to confirm that our warranty period is 30 days, which is why we initially advised that the option in this instance would be to repurchase this frame with free nonprescription lenses, and that when you receive the replacement frame, to remove the nonprescription lenses from the new frame and insert the prescription lenses from the original frame into the rims of the new frame. However, we understand that it can be perplexing for a customer to remove prescription lenses from the rims of one frame and install the lenses in the rims of a replacement frame. Sometimes customers will take the two pairs of eyeglasses to a local optical retailer, who may make a customer service exception to swap the lenses for the customer for free, but we understand that this may not be a currently feasible option. Although we made a customer service exception to offer to send you a free replacement frame 780724, we were also sorry to read that you felt less than cared for by the customer service representatives with whom you interacted about this matter in Chat sessions. Therefore, insofar as this is your first order with Zenni, and to show that we do care about you, we are going to make a further one-time customer service exception on your behalf to ask our lab to remake these eyeglasses for you for free. You will not have to return the eyeglasses with the color splotches on the frame to obtain this remake. You should receive an email from our lab later tonight or tomorrow, confirming the new order number of the remake of your near-range workspace progressive eyeglasses with Blokz® in a new frame 780724. Of course, we will ask our lab to confirm that the frame is in good condition before they remake the glasses in this frame. We hope that this remake will resolve this matter to your satisfaction and demonstrate that we care about you as a Zenni customer.
