This is a REAL review, from a REAL person, who just received my ZAGER ZAD-80 guitar. I cannot find enough words to express HOW much I LOVE this guitar! I have been teaching all kinds of instruments for 51 years, and as I have gotten older, I find it more difficult to press the frets on my Seagull, which I always thought was decent. But now that I own a Zager guitar? This is like butter, and is as different as day and night! I will never buy a different brand ever again. The smell of new wood that wafts up as I play is a wonderful experience as well. I will be coming back to purchase a ZAD-90 in the future! I received my new Zager Parlor Guitar today and it definitely exceeded my expectations. I currently own a Gibson J-45 and a Taylor 414CE. It may be unfair to compare a parlor to a Dread but the tone of this Parlor is every bit as good as the bigger ones. I needed a smaller size guitar since I'm not a large person and I tried out several other Parlor guitars but found the sound to be somewhat flat and boxy. A friend has a Zager full size and I tried it and was very pleased by the playability and the sound. I kept coming back to Zager since I prefer to support local musicians. I watched videos comparing the different Zager models and the Parlor always stood out for me. It's a beautiful looking guitar as well as having a rounder sound. Nice lows and crisp highs and a beautiful midrange that's perfect for the finger style music I play. I am very impressed by the workmanship that went into this guitar and the added perks of a hard case (complete with humidifier - I live in Colorado) and the guarantee of a family-backed business make this a home run. I don't think you can go wrong with a Zager and I believe it will last well beyond the Year 2525. Thank you Denny and family and all the staff who always answered all my dumb questions. I just received my Zager 900 and I have to say that my first impression was WOW! This is a well built guitar with the best gear from the Grover tuners to the Auro Pro electronics. The first thing I noticed when opening the case was the finish of the guitar. It was what the people at Zager described it would be and what I pictured it to be. The guitar fits very snug inside the case and when you push it in you can fell the air moving out of the case.

I gave the guitar a very close inspection and was not able to find any blemishes in the finish anywhere on the top, bottom, sides or along the fretboard. I would say they were very careful in handling the guitar. To have it hand built and see no scratches or anything I find pretty amazing. The guitar plays very well and the fretboard accommodates
My large fingers well. One thing I noticed is that once tuned all the chords when played were in tune. I have noticed that on some guitars that while the guitars sounds in tune on one chord another chord might be a touch off. This guitar stays in tune.

I also own a 1978 Gibson that I bought back in 1981. I love this guitar and will never trade or sell it. The sound on it has really blossomed over the years. After cranking on this Zager 900 I can tell you that it rivals the sound of my Gibson straight out of the box. Cant wait to see what a little time will do to it. The 900 has a really full sound that you have to hear to understand what I mean by full sound. I can whole heartedly give this "box" and big thumbs up. It is the real deal and a very well made guitar. I almost spent twice the money on a Taylor when I decided to buy this one. I am really glad I bought the Zager. I have owned many guitars in my years but this one is one I will keep and hand down to my children. Good Job Zager family.

I've only just bought this guitar, used, from a music shop in Sheffield, England. Chords all up and down the neck ring out like a bell. It's sustain seems to go on forever. I own a few acoustic guitars, including a Martin D28. I intend getting shut of most, but keep the Martin and this one. I must say that it's the best sounding and the playability beats all my other guitars.
I am so glad that I have found this guitar. Also, I have been in touch with Zager and the response time is excellent.

Can't say enough about the Zager's. I found them to be honest, trustworthy and more than eager to answer any concerns I had during my purchase of the 900ce. This is not only a very beautiful guitar but made with a craftmanship that is truly unequalled, with a sound that can only be appreciated by playing it. This is an instrument that will become a family heirloom. Folks, this a legitimate company making a great quality instrument. I plan on buying another guitar from them in the future. I guess my Tayor 810 will get a bit lonely in its case, lol. Many thanks to all those a Zager!

I have to say…. I bought a Zager guitar last November as a birthday present to myself. I'm crossing some things off my bucket list and decided to teach myself at age 51 to play guitar after several previous failed attempts in my life. I did quite a bit of research before finally making a purchase. I absolutely love playing this guitar! I opted for the starburst ZAD-50 CE. It is a solidly built, great sounding guitar. Many friends who have played my guitar also love the sound and playability of it. I've learned about 10 songs thus far and slowly am developing some theory. It's a very fun and relaxing past time and a pleasure to play my Zager guitar! I would highly recommend to those starting out and experienced players alike!

Instant friends! Zager is outta site! The people the guitar, I got the 80 series, it is just beautiful! When I first opened the case, I just sat there taking it all in! I's a work of art that I thought I would never be able to acquire! I'm glad of the powers that led me to the Zager site. The sound is incredible and that was before I knew you were supposed to take the humidifier out of the sound hole! When I found out about this, the world of inspiration opened up to me! I really needed this, because I lost my left foot above the knee, on Valentines day, and my right was already gone! So this wonderful guitar is a real sparker! THANK YOU ZAGER FRIENDS!

I'm a retired pastor, and have now been playing guitar for well over 50 years. For most of that time, my principal guitar was a Guild F-50. More recently, during the past 20 years or so, I've been playing mainly a Larrivee 12 string. Now both of these are very fine guitars, you might say top of the line. But I must tell you that neither of them sound better or play better than the Zager 900 OM that I have just received. Right out of the box this guitar is amazing! Indeed I can't seem to put it down. I checked it out, and the string height is right about 1/4" lower than that of any of my other 6 strings. I don't know how they do that but it means that I can play hour after hour without finger pain. Moreover the sound is gorgeous: deep, resonant, and clear. Like many guitar guys, I have been somewhat skeptical of Zager's claims, but no more. It's the real deal. Rev. James Flowers

I Live Chatted multiple times as I researched Zager for my next guitar. They always responded quickly and honestly to my questions. I selected the ZAD80CE.
I mentioned I would be moving relatively soon and asked if I should wait to order my guitar until I had relocated. I was told to put my order and if they received the parts they were missing they would ship my guitar.
A couple of days later I received an email my guitar was being shipped from the Nevada hub. It arrived on time and in perfect condition. All I needed to do was lower the action to fit my playing style and it was ready to play. It played as beautiful as on all the video demonstrations I had watched on the Zager website.

This past week I had a beautiful Zager guitar that I ordered arrive at my door. In a word the craftsmanship is just stunning. I used to play guitar a bit when I was a lot younger but at 68 years old I'm finding myself in a position to re-learn some things that I used to I use to enjoy doing. After searching many guitars I stumbled across the Zager website and very much liked what I saw. So I took the plunge and ordered one just for me. The guitar sounds wonderful looks amazing and will bring hopefully a few years of joy to my life before this instrument is passed down to a new generation. Their costumer service in getting back to me with any questions that I had was pretty much instantaneous. Always polite and professional and I never was made to feel like my questions were me being a pest. Top notch all the way. Thank you for so much for a wonderful experience it's truly been a pleasure.

Just received my Zager ZAD50CE African Mahogany model and it is 100% flawless! I'm 65 and the fingers are starting to become arthritic and I was looking for an easier guitar to play. I was not disappointed with the promises made about this easy play guitar, especially after lowering the string height. It took a few months to arrive but when the case was opened, all was forgiven! All of the extras, tuners, capo, picks, t shirt and free online lessons took it over the top! In the first 24 hours I have gotten 2 offers to buy it from me- no thank you!

I had purchased a Zager parlor guitar for my daughter a couple years ago and a used Zager 50 recently. Having these guitars I was very aware of their amazing finishes and quality. But I wasn't prepared for the awesome beauty of the Zad 900 om!
Then strumming the guitar and hearing the "HIDDEN " BEAUTY from the instrument.
This is an OUTSTANDING GUITAR.
