I have a guitar I bought from Zager about 7 years ago and the electronics was acting up. I did a online chat with one of Zagers techs and the next day I got a phone call asking me to verify my address so a replacement part could be sent. With in 5 days of the initial online chat I received my replacement part. Best customer service I have had!

"Do not judge a book by its cover." I'm sure you have heard this expression before. Well, hold on to your picks because you will not be disappointed with Zager guitars - regardless of the size you get. I'm 55 years old and have dabbled a little with guitar lessons and such but had such a hard time playing because of my small hands and arthritis. Do you know how sad it is to not be able to express music from your heart because of age? It sucks! I purchased Zager's Travel guitar and am totally thrilled. Not only is my guitar visually stunning but my travel companion packs a punch. Great things do come in small packages! It even sounds better than my expensive Ovation (sorry Ovation, no offense). So, if you are on the fence, just give it a try. You really have nothing to loose and everything to gain. Customer service is outstanding and they stand by their product 100%. Zager takes great pride in what they produce and it shows. Thank you, Zager, for allowing me to express the beauty of music once again.
I am 86 years old. I started guitar at age 10. I have owned nearly every known brand of guitar. This includes Matin D-45's, D-35's,
D- 28s, etc. Taylor 900 custom, every Gibson acoustic, Gretch electric etc. all great guitars.
This is my first Zager Every thing they say about it is for real.! It is the easiest to play, and as great a sound as any I have had. The amazing thing was the PRICE!
It is worth at least 3 times what I paid! Keep up the good work! God bless you guys.
I started playing two years ago. Wasn't sure if I would stick with it so bought a low-end Martin. Now realizing I want to stick with it did some internet research for other options. Found this small company in Nebraska that seemed to offer exactly what I wanted - an excellent acoustic at a price that doesn't make me choke! I received the guitar last week.
Outstanding craftsmanship. The guitar looks fantastic and plays even better. Don't expect I'd need another one anytime soon but if I ever do it'll be another Zager. First-rate customer service to boot. Highly recommended.
Love my new Zager guitar. Finish is beautiful like a fine piece of furniture, playability is awesome and the Aura System finishes it off perfectly. One of the best guitars i have owned.
I received my Guitar the other day beautiful guitar. A little tuning out of the case and it sounds great, keeps ringing out. Plays better than the Taylor I bought for around the same price. It's more comparable to the Martin I bought in 2016 for around $2300. 00. When I read the other reviews I wondered if they were true, but I believe they all are true. I waited for the delivery, it was worth it. I'm 69 and sometimes my cords don't sound good with this Zager guitar they play and sound better. Also the finish I don't think it could be better. Even the head stock is finished. The case is also awesome. If I buy another guitar it will be a Zager. Mr Zager, his son and the staff do a great job
Thank you much David Dyson
This guitar is simply the most beautiful guitar I've seen in many years! And I'm looking forward to playing it for many years to come.
As soon as my ZAD900CE arrived and I unpacked it, it was obvious to me that this guitar is truly a very high quality musical instrument. The extreme care taken in its design and workmanship are very apparent, even in the smallest details. Upon thorough inspection, I could see that every aspect important in a high-end professional grade acoustic guitar was carefully considered in its production. I've played guitars that cost three times+ more, and none of them have come close this masterpiece. And it is the easiest playing guitar that I've ever played. The Zager family is not kidding about that!
For a VERY recently built guitar with a strong scent of freshly cut woods and woodworkers' glue, I'm very pleased in its lower strings' response, resonance, and sustain. The smaller strings are a bit tinny which should be expected since the woods and glues have not fully settled and cured. I wait to see how beautiful it will sound after the woods have fully seasoned and settled in a month or two. Also, being an acoustic/electric guitar, I was quite surprised at how light and balanced it is. That can make a BIG difference when you're performing for hours at a time.
Dealing with the folks at Zager has been a real pleasure, too. They've quickly responded to any and all of my questions and concerns, long before and after the sale. That's so refreshing after dealing with some other high-end guitar makers who don't seem to care much about their customers, especially after the sale is made. When I ordered my ZAD900CE in mid-February 2022, I was told it would probably not be delivered until sometime in June 2022 due to supply chain issues... It arrived May 4,2022! I was thrilled!
I highly recommend this lovely guitar to anyone looking for the best in an acoustic/electric guitar.
The Zager ZAD900 is a top notch guitar. We own Martin and Gibson as well, and this Zager is picked up and played the most. Its right there with the top in Martin and Gibson, and the sound is huge. One of our favorites!
Best money I ever spent and I have several friends who agree! One friend in particular has tried to trade me his prized Taylor 12 string for my ZAD80CE. One of the great things I am learning is my new Zager sounds better every time I play it!
I have had 2 zager guitars now for 8 Years. They are a beautiful piece of work, and sound fantastic. I have another one on order now and cant wait to receive it. I am 70 years old and when my grandchildren are old enough, I will be teaching them how to play these fantastic guitars.
Thank you Zager family for a great guitar!
I received my parlor guitar and absolutely love it. It is one awesome guitar! The entire staff has been so great to work with. They have answered any questions promptly and the guitar itself has been a pleasure to play. It truly does play easier as I can fret easily up and down the neck with the chords.
Thank you all for a great quality instrument. I really appreciate your approach on the entire process. The staff I worked with have been a pleasure to deal with.
Looking forward to many great years of playing this guitar. My dad has the Aura 80 series and I played that for awhile and had to get my own Zager guitar. Looking forward to our future jam sessions with friends and family.
Thank You All.
Just a word to say thank you. My guitar arrived today and it's the best. I've played a selection of them over my 40 some years including my D-35 Martin and wow what a box this one is! You even changed it to the 80 series from the original order in time to send the one I wanted! It's a red letter day! Thanks
I've had my new Zager about a week now and it is REAL as in plays REAL nice and REALLY easy, not to mention REAL pretty! Zagers are also a DEAL as in about half the price to other comparable high-end guitars! Even though I had to wait for about two and a half months for my ZAD900OMCE more than worth the wait! This is without a doubt a gorgeous and beautifully crafted instrument! Get one and enjoy!
My guitar arrived on schedule and it is beautiful. I now own a ZAD50ceOM and I have held that beauty in my hands and strummed it with ease over the two days I have it. I really enjoy how easy I find it to get the chords right without strain. Let me add that I'm 83 and just took up guitar in October 2021. I'm hooked on the Zager 50OM. Thank you Zager
I would like to first off say I've played alot of different brands of guitars in the past 50 years. From the poorly made to the amazingly made. I've been reading reviews on Zagers for a few years now debating on pulling the trigger. I pulled the trigger. My hands and fingers are 66 years old. Some guitars just don't work. When I read easy play, I thought yeh right. But I'll tell you, I'm not gonna debate where they're made or there are others better. But I will say I went from playing for an hour playing in misery to catching my self playing almost pain free for hours on my Zad 80ce. Its beautiful, well crafted and plays beautifully. To top the cake my wife loves the sound when I play it. Thanks Zager family.
My new Zager "Easy Play ZAD-900, Anniversary Guitar. Its beautiful and sounds as good as it looks. Haven't put it down much over the first days I have had it. It arrived with a fine set up and its truly an easy to play action. I just love it!
I received my Zager guitar yesterday and it is wonderful. The feel, the electronics, the fit and finish are spectacular. And it sounds great plugged into a Fishman Loudbox. The story behind the order is that my wife heard me talking about it as I have a Martin DC-Aura and wanted something smaller. A Martin OM-Aura fit the bill but they are not available, new or used. The Zager had all the features I have on my Martin and my three sons and wife surprised me on my birthday in March by purchasing a ZAD900 OM for me.
In Japan they say," One should Only say What is Better than Silence " The Zagar Family Experience "Screams" with Tastefully Crafted Therapeutic Guitars. Then there's the service & response... Up & Beyond, thank you all Sincerely,

I have been playing guitar over 50 years. I own Taylor, Martin, Fender, Gibson, Godin, and Maton guitars. I ordered this Zager 900 Series OM guitar in February, and was promised June delivery. It arrived on April 29. I was immediately impressed. Upon opening the box, I was struck by its beauty and great construction. The strings were set high for my fingerpicking style, and so I adjusted the neck in 10 minutes. It plays extremely easily and sounds wonderful. I know it will open up as it ages a bit more. In all, a PERFECT experience. I highly recommend the Zager company. Top notch!
I received my Zager 9000MCE Guitar a few days ago. I have played for at least a few hours and have also done one performance all plugged in. The sound is full and rich. Much more than I thought being a brand new guitar. The bass notes are vibrant and penetrating. I also have a 1977 Guild D-25CH that I bought new and a Martin Cut Away Acoustic guitars and I find the sound of the Zager to be superior to both in that it has the best of both guitars in one sound. The Guild is a booming guitar and the Martin is more mellow. Somehow the Zager seems to incorporate the best of both guitars in its sound quality.
The string spacing is comparable to the Martin Guitar. The distance between the inside of the 6th string and the inside of the 1st string is about 1.50 inches. On the Guild the spacing is about 1.4 inches. I always had to get used to the Guild when I would switch from the Martin and vice versa. The playability of the Zager definitely seems easier even though the string height over the frets is a bit taller than I am used. Zager says this is intentional as it will decrease over time as the wood settles in. An allen wrench is also included so the user can easily set the height of the strings over the frets with a simple adjustment.
The Zager strings are said to be of softer metal, and I can feel a slight difference on the pads of my fingers. It takes less pressure. I normally play with medium gauge strings and I think the ones that come with the guitar are light strings. Usually the light strings sound tinny to me, but these do not.
The pickup system sounds really good as I tried it out on a professionally set sound system with mixers and speakers. With a push of a button the built in tuner will display every single note played on an LED. I find it helpful in learning leads on the neck. If you question where you are at, the light illuminates the note being played even if its a sharp or a flat. Pretty cool.
Overall I am very happy with the Guitar. It is the most beautiful guitar I have ever owned. The attention to detail is stunning. I wonder if I will play the others guitars much anymore!
Answer: I am not interested in a 1969 song as much as the wonderful services and the best guitar in my own humble opinion on the market in 2019. They are truly gifted Luthers and honest men of integrity men to work with and that sir is no lie God Bless Mike A
Answer: Through email, I hear back within 24 hours or less every time.
Answer: I'll put my new ZAD900CE up against anything Martin makes or has made in the past.
Answer: They answered my emails within hours.
Answer: I have purchased (2) guitars from them and they are both excellent guitars. Customer service is next to none. Ignore the haters, this is a legit company based out of Lincoln Nebraska.
Answer: I asked the same question and was told they are experiencing shipping issues just like the rest of the country. In retrospect, I should have ordered a 'sale guitar' which are new guitars that were used by Denny (a few hundred dollars cheaper too). Kind of like a loaner or demo car I guess. It took me 7 or 8 weeks to get my brand new Zager 900 CE.
