I ordered their Lala platform sneakers in color Atlantis, and when they arrived two weeks later I immediately fell in love. The shoes are sturdy but not too heavy, are pretty comfortable, and look GORGEOUS. The only issue I have is there's a little wrinkling by some of the seams, most notably in the back, but other than that they're just about perfect and completely worth the price. I'm definitely buying more YRU shoes in the future!

I don't even know where to get started on contacting the store for returns. Either way, the shoes in my size don't fit. I'm plus sized but the fact they can't zip up halfway on my leg just shows it's a badly made product. I tried on one of my friend's pair before my own arrived and it had to be adjusted in every way possible to fit me. Even then, it barely zipped a third of the way.

I was in the middle of trying to purchase some shoes putting in my credit information. I accidentally placed the wrong zip code and the order didn't go through as it should, but my card was still charged the amount immediately.

What kind of site takes your money with a failed transaction? This site feels extremely sketchy and don't want my account information associated with it now.
YRU shoes is a site no one should use.

I have waited 2 weeks and I haven't received any contact from their customer service about the issue. My bank immediately refunded my account when speaking with them. While YRU has done nothing.

I attempted to order some boots on 17 September during a 50% off sale, they tried to run my card 12 times. The only email I did receive it said that my card had not been charged, despite the fact it's still remains charged. I have reached out no less than five times via email and Instagram and they have not responded. As of the is writing I have received no order confirmation or shipping notifications. After this whole ordeal (I'm still fighting to get my money back with cashapp) I don't even want the boots that I'm sure I'm never gonna see anyways. Apparently lots of folks have similar issues with this company, very disappointing.

I ordered a $165 dollar order. Processing for US domestic orders SAYS 3-7, international says 7-10. It has been almost a month now and it's still not even shipped. I sent a message to the support staff, still no response. Don't buy from them if you're looking for good service.
Edit: they responded the day after I posted this. It's going to take at least another 3-7 days for them to receive the items. I don't know if that even accounts for processing and handling. Man, it's just going to be a month and a half before I receive this. They need to update the processing times.

Tip for consumers:
Don't listen to their processing dates, it will take up to a month to receive even one pair.

The shoes look to be fairly sturdy but I'll be selling mine as they don't fit true to size and are at least half a size too big.
When reporting an issue with their site they had three different contacts for help I could find the response time varied on each and they refused to honor the discount saying it's impossible to do a partial refund. Which they ended up doing after telling me three times it's not possible?
As a business owner myself I know its not only possible but really easy to do.
I was really unimpressed with the way they speak to clients, and their software issues.
Their return policy for international is bull. No canceling orders, no returns whatsoever.

Tip for consumers:
Don't. Try shoefreaks or hella heels or leecabe or any number of shoe companies that isn't this or pleasers.

I made an order by mistake, less than 20 mins after placing my order I wrote to customer service letting them know I needed to cancel it & that it hadn't been shipped yet. Their processing and handling SAYS (3 to 7 business days), but in less than 24 hours I received a shipping confirmation. Very unhappy. Their shoes are $50 cheaper on dollskill + free shipping

I paid $130 for Shoes on this site over a month ago. I've sent multiple emails asking when they will ship because they are for Halloween and have gotten nothing back. There is no customer support number. So literally no way of getting in contact with this site. I don't know how they are still in business with the lack of customer support they have.

Reached out to YRU Customer Service to see if it was possible to pay for expedited shipping so I could have my shoes for a specific event. They replied saying they would take care of expedited shipping so I could have my shoes in time! They arrived in time and look and feel great! Im very happy and appreciative. Can't do 5 stars because they seem to run big. Website should mention this. I wish I got one size down but the shoes are still wearable as is. Thank you YRU!

I honestly should have looked at these kinds of reviews, but I trusted the reviews online and by influencers who have bought from them. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes and sent them an email asking if I could change one of the sizes as I misclicked and it was almost immediately after I purchased, so I knew the size was available.

They responded to that fairly quickly, but I have not received a shipping notification. I ordered on the 30th and the only way I was able to contact them was by actually looking up where to contact them on their website as the "Need help?" contact listing was incorrect.

I emailed them twice about shipping and have not received a response despite them previously being fairly quick. I placed the order on Nov. 30th and haven't even received a shipping notification. I ordered 3 pairs of shoes for a bit less than $100, but after reading everything on here, I am definitely regretting that.

Hopefully it ships soon, if at all, and the quality is good despite all these other reviews. :(

Tip for consumers:
honestly, look elsewhere or be prepared to wait a while and not receive quick responses in regards to actually receiving items :,)

Terrible shoes do not but they are a scam. Just got the shoes and zipper broke first time putting on the shoes and because of their terrible policies I'm out $150 with no way to send it back. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

I see a lot of negative reviews and i was super afraid to order because of it but there was completely nothing wrong with my order and the shoes are amazing! Im from slovakia and the order was delivered in three weeks.

Edit: i ordered 3 pairs of shoes from YRU so far and all of them ended up unwearable after like a month of wearing. They just fell apart and not even shoe repairman could fix them. Its a shame because their designs are super pretty

Never got my shoes and I ordered like three different pairs! Complete waste of money and they wouldn't even refund me. The shoes are so cute looking but what's the point in buying if you can't even get them.

I've purchased quite a few styles as a short cosplayer who tends to try to add a few inches height-wise (Bloq Hi, Qozmo Hi, Creep) and for casual wear (Qozmo Chill, Lala, Slayr Camo reflective, and a couple others that aren't available but weren't designed by them).

Sizing & Comfort:
Their shoes run true to size but tend to be slightly narrow, so wider feet folks should get a size up for comfort over a long wear time. The back of your ankles/legs may get torn up from the back of the shoe chaffing against your skin over time (I've had this happen on Chill, the Slayr Camo, Creep, but less so with the Qozmo Hi), so if you're planning on walking around for more than a few hours, make sure there's a buffer where the top of the shoe contacts your leg.

Admittedly, none of these shoes (that I've owned) are very breathable due to the materials used, which is to be expected, so it's nothing to really run home about. You may not find your size during big sales promotions, so definitely shop around in advance.

Platforms:
Their platforms are comfortable to wear since Bloq and Qozmo has a slight curve to the platform. Creep feels the most inflexible to wear since they're pretty flat on the bottom despite being significantly shorter in terms of added height. Always be careful on slopes and stairs because the higher platforms can and will split on a grade as simple as an entry dip, yet somehow be perfectly fine if you roll your ankle about 15 times. They can be glued back on, but I've personally resorted to contact cement since I usually wear them all day and need that extra placebo of safety.

Sneakers:
Their sneakers doesn't really hold up as nicely as it should, especially if you're walking around frequently. This especially occurs with the Chill series--the eyelets are prone to coming off, the leather that the lace loops through can snap where your toes naturally bend, the shoe glue can separate from the sole from bring used too much within the day, and it's possible to accidentally scape and damage the outer leather if the top three eyelets scrape against your opposite shoe. These shoes definitely aren't made to handle long periods of walking around compared to true skater brands. Their Lala series holds up the best in my opinion (especially the non-vinyl ones) as they're both equally comfortable and flexible. If you like wearing loud shoes, you'll definitely attract some eyes since their colors are incredibly vibrant.

Customer Service & Shipping:
Using their customer service is hit or miss, and they tend to take awhile to respond. During one of their flash sale promotions, the site didn't authorize their advertised promo code and it took over a day for them to get back to me, but luckily, they allowed me to use their promo code despite their response being after their flash sale timeframe. Understandably, others haven't been very lucky in their specific instances.

I don't worry too much about their order processing since I purchase when their order volume is likely to be higher, and I expect it to take a few days. However, if you're on a short time frame, you may want to pass and go through another retailer, especially for customers that don't live in California. They tend to create their shipping labels very early but don't dispatch orders to mail carriers the same day. This has occurred for most of my orders.

Overall:
I tend to purchase their shoes when they're on at a discounted sale price except for the Qozmo Hi as they tend to be more permanent than the others, but they do their job. They just require a little more care to last long, which might not be very appealing to customers that are used to shoes that can survive an apocalypse. So far, I personally find most of them comfortable to wear (until the chaffing starts if I'm wearing the wrong socks). As someone who can't wear extreme heels for more than like 20 minutes, their platforms are a godsend, and I would personally recommend them for adding some extra height for cosplay and don't mind a chonker of a wedge. Order them in advance in case processing and shipping time is not on your side.

I pre ordered some of the new Monster High boots back in December and hadn't gotten them and its nearly the end of February. So I contacted the company and it took contact them twice with my order number for them to tell me they had over sold the shoe in my size and they were refunding me my money. Yay, I got my money back. But what would have happened if I hadn't contacted them?!

This is really, really disheartening because I really wanted several pairs of the Monster High shoes but now I'm afraid to even try again for fear they're just gonna take the money and wait me out instead of me actually keeping track of my orders.

Honestly really surprised at all these bad reviews. I have had nearly the exact opposite experience. I've ordered from them twice and now have 4 pairs of their shoes. All platform. Have never had any issues at all other than that I think the shoes run nearly 2 sizes big. (so it's strange to me to see people saying they run small) I'm normally a US women's 7, sometimes 8. I was worried they'd be small so I got an 8 in everything and they fit like men's sizes to me. Like I possibly could wear a 6, but definitely at most, a 7. Otherwise, I have loved every pair of shoes I have ordered.

I ordered two items over Black Friday. One item was a presale so I wasn't worried bout it, the other was not. There was nothing that stated the items had to shipped at the same time. After about 2 weeks I emailed inquiring about this. They did not answer my question and instead sent me information about the preorder. After more than 5 emails I was becoming very upset and then they started speaking to me like I was an idiot that couldn't read. They were condescending, didn't listen to me at all, then terminated my order because I said the word "$#*!ing". As someone who has worked in customer service, theirs is an absolute joke and there are much better companies to order similar items from that doesn't treat customers like $#*!.

I had been looking into this brand for about 5 years now and I really wanted to try them because of how cute and original the design seemed at the time. One day I caught them on a sale day and I thought I was extremely lucky. I normally didn't want to buy their shoes for $120. And I was NOT wrong. I was able to get a pair for half off with a discount code. I should've known that it was skeptical just by the way their website design looked.

They took nearly 2 weeks to send the shoes. When it came, the silica gel had broken inside the box, box was wet and ruined from INSIDE the plastic package that was sealed. I order black shoes and they sent me WHITE ones, Lol? How do you make such a big mistake? I emailed them to get a new pair and they said I needed to return the white ones. I was appalled that I needed to go out of my way to return an item they wrongly shipped me. Definitely worth less than $50. The shoe came DIRTY. They were stained? The platform foam had several dented dots on them and the shoe sole rubber was already ripped. They looked completely unworn yet damaged. I told them I was not going to go out of my way during a PANDEMIC to return shoes they should have shipped to me correctly in the first place. Not only did they ignore my email, they didn't send me a refund.

Disgusting. YRU lives up to it's standards, unethically made in China.:-) I should've not expected more.

I ordered the Aura Reflective from them off of Dolls Kill, and the quality is NOT WORTH IT. After only a couple weeks of having them and only wearing them a handful of times, they're already scratched and the reflective stars and moons are cracking. They do fit me, I ordered a size 9 when I'm an 8 1/2, but that's the only plus besides how pretty they are when they reflect. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. (All the photos are just damage on ONE SHOE)
