I have never personally had a YouTube Channel, so my opinion may be skewed, but in my experience, YouTube is a fabulous platform, full of creativity, and incredibly useful. As any platform, however, there are issues. I have here a list of pros and cons, I hope they prove useful.

Pros:
- The ability to find almost anything you need to learn about
- The ability to post almost any of your creative desires, urges, and activities easily.
- A pretty good system for getting rid of illegal content. (I'm talking generally, you won't find videos with illegal activity on your homepage, unless you...search for it.)
- Pretty good UI, with a simple to understand setup and organization.
There are inevitably others, but I am giving general lists here.
Cons:
- Spam. Unless it is super bad, most spam/hate videos will get through. As a platform for sharing opinions and such, YouTube allows strong opinions. Both good and bad.
- Moderation. I am not hating on YouTube Mods. They have a lot on their plate, and will not be able to look deeply into each and every problem they are shown. This can lead to quick decisions that may not be the best option.
- Comments. There are hateful people on the internet, and the comment section is a toxic keyboard warrior's favorite battleground. Comments can build up a small creator, or cause them to leave completely. Comments are tough man.

Overall, YouTube is a pretty helpful site, but it has issues that could use help. However, I do like YouTube, and I will continue to use it.

Hi, my name's Leo, I've been using YouTube for almost ten years now and it's clear to see why the website has the reputation it does, with all that it has accomplished, and can continue doing in the future. It has probably got to be the greatest video sharing website right now because of the gargantuan amount of versatile content available to almost anyone, potential for different career opportunities, it's business and educational practicalities. The website has also accumulated a strong sense of community that can be seen in each video's comment section, collaborations between YouTubers and interactions with fans on the website. I use YouTube for almost everything from learning how to play guitar, help with school or watching entertaining content from creators such as PewDiePie. It's also the app I use the most on my phone.

I always listen to my favorite music and check my fave youtubers by this. This is one of the most famous vid channels and I like it!

This app is fantastic for cooking, schooling, and many more things to learn. It was the strongest time-pass ever in this pandemic. I've been to many more comedies, jokes, cooking classes. And learned a lot as well.

Hats off to YouTube for making the best video captions I have ever seen in a video with the captions being exactly correct for a Japanese name. Overall good experience but some UI adjustments are needed. For example, I don't like the small video player when you are watching a video and searching at the same time. I think in that instance you should have almost half the screen be video because you have a lot of white in between words for video and screen. Besides that, I think this is a great platform to share ideas with the world.

One reason that we are drawn to certain videos here is that they can be crafted in a way that really connects with us and seems relatable.
But just like most social media sites, every video is crafted with some kind of message, whether directly or indirectly, intentionally or unintentionally. These messages can be a simple Minecraft video showing us that Minecraft is fun or a video made specifically to tell us why we should try fencing. Some of these messages will contain truth, and others will contain lies. While many people post good videos (example: fencing analysis videos), there are some creators whose videos make fun of people do not respect the dignity of others (example: "funny fails" types of videos); the message they send is that it is alright to make fun of others, and this is not correct. Another kind of message that appears on YouTube is advertising. While ads are a way for people to make money, they are also very annoying to watch. As many of the people here have been saying, ads have become longer and more frequent on YouTube lately which greatly disrupts the videos. Advertisements' messages are much more direct and more prone to deception and lies. We should be aware of all these messages and sort the truth from the lies, not letting the views and popularity of a video tell us what messages are good or bad. Like many sites, YouTube is a tool that can be used in great ways or terrible ways, and we should make sure that we use this tool in a way that is truthful and respectful to others.

I tend to watch a lot of learning channels more than anything else, but it's an excellent way to pass some time if you're bored. I wouldn't recommend spending your entire day there, though. I'm on you tube all the time. It's got some great producers in the things I like watching, and there is some useful educational material.
The ads are annoying, since they interrupt the viewing, and are never interesting.
I like the way the site seems to feed me with new videos, and a lot of it isn't wrong. There's some Junk on there too, not always linked to the number of likes or views. But that's the downside of the web. Mostly it's very positive. I don't need a TV anymore.

It help me to get more followers in a few days and more likes so it's a perfect experience. I like it

This site has a, "give feedback" feature that no matter what I submit as feedback, insanely good ideas that wouldn't be hard to implement, they never get added to the site and app; what a shame.
