Terrible customer service, not to mention their bundle with NetSuite does not work.
February 11, 2021

The NetSuite Saved Searches that are generated by the Yearli bundle is incorrect. I let Yearli know and asked how to fix the 1099s that have been issued. Their response? "Call NetSuite". I wrote back with an email explaining that is the worst customer service I have ever seen and that the worst part is that they didn't tell me how to fix the 1099s.

Another rep wrote me back and basically said the same thing, but a lot nicer and explained it more. However, my issue is this - they are a partner of NetSuite and vice versa. They should not only want to minimize the work for their customers, but honestly, if I worked at Yearli, I would be letting NetSuite know that this is a huge issue for Yearli customers and they need to fix it. When a customer buys any product and if something goes wrong with it, they will not expect to go to several different vendors to fix a problem with a product that one, single company is selling. CASE(S) IN POINT: When you buy a car from Toyota, and your engine breaks down a week after you bring it home, what would you say if Toyota told you that another company manufactured it, so you need to go to talk to them instead; not Toyota's problem. What would you do if you bought a desk and it was missing a leg and you called the furniture company and they said, "It was manufactured by XYZ company, sorry, you will need to talk to them." This is the same issue. I was SHOCKED that 1) the 2nd rep condoned the 1st rep's response and 2) that they felt that they have no responsibility to the customer with regards to this problem. People are using Yearli, because Yearli is saying they WORK WITH NETSUITE, but they don't!

I am guessing most of their customers just have not noticed, but effectively, the info they are submitting to the IRS (and the payee) are incorrect. Yearli, who owns this product, should take more responsibility over this. I will never recommend Yearli to anyone going-forward and will try another software next year, like Track1099 or Sovos.
