Worst service received *******@Yatra.com during our family trip to Kashmir (YH*******) last week 30/04/2023 to 06/05/2023.
1. Details of driver was not provided on time. After continuous follow ups we were able to get the same at night.
2. Emergency contacts are not responding at any time. If emergency contact number is not picking a call, then how it will be helpful in any emergency! After several requests on call & emails we had not received any alternate emergency contact information.
3. Due to miscommunication from Yatra.com with Houseboat at Shrinagar, we had spoiled our 2 hours with my family under scorching heat along with my 2 year's old daughter.
4. Car's glass is in broken condition throughout journey.
5. Issues *******@Welcome Hotel, Gulmarg
*Food quality issues:
We had dinner, in which very low quality of tawa roti served. After couple of requests, the quality of roti was highly poor. It's too much hard, hence we were not able to cut it. In Paneer sabji, paneer was so hard (not fresh). Cucumber in salad was bitter in taste.
In breakfast, food quality is not good. As per Hotel's manager they will going to serve Cut fruits, aloo paratha, upma, juice, bread butter & tea-coffee. But, today there is only poha (highly oily & without salt) & bread butter (not good quality) nothing else.
Tea & Milk were not served hot.
*Unhygienic dining hall:
Overall condition of dining hall & food arrangements were unhygienic. Poor cleanliness, unclean table, 2 of the chairs were not safe to sit (one may fall anytime due to loose joints), un even floor surface of steps in dining hall etc.
*Power cut issues:
More than 7 times power cutoffs within 10 hours. In night, our both rooms heater and bed sheet heater does not work in such a cold condition. Hence, we were not able to sleep due to heavy cold. Our both room's geyser not working, so we were not able to take proper bath in such cold.
6. WiFi was not in working condition at Hotel Welcome, Gulmarg &@Hotel Himalayan Discover Resort, Pahalgam.
7. Geyser is not able to heat water *******@Hotel Himalayan Discover Resort.
Considering above observations, It shows Yatra.com is only interested in taking bookings & money not in service to their "So called valuable customers".

I want to share my vacation experience that I booked through 'Yatra.Com' by dated on 28th Mar'22 for my three days' vacation starting from 14th Apr'22 to 17th Apri'22 (15 days in advance booking and full payment done in one single shot) for 2 families (4 Adults and 4 Kids). They gave me 2 days Shimla and 1 day Chandigarh tour package for INR 85,000.00 (Yatra Booking Reference No.: YH*******). Below is my complete itinerary that they promised me in written - black & white (tour package document) as follows:
1. Delhi-Shimla-Chandigarh-Delhi entire tour via private AC Tempo Traveler.
2. Inclusive of all types of driver allowances, toll taxes, parking fees etc.
3. All sight seeing in Shimla and Chandigarh via AC tempo traveler.
Now, would share the twist, their commitment levels and behaviors as follows:
1. Two days before starting of my tour by dated on 12th Apr'22 evening Yatra operations team called me that AC Tempo Traveler is not available and they gave me 2 options and asked me confirm immediately:
A. Full tour via 2 separate cars.
B. 2 separate cars from Delhi to Chandigarh and Chandigarh to Shimla via AC tempo traveler.
2. They completely back off with their written commitment to give AC tempo traveler for entire 'To & Fro' trip. So, this was the 1st surprise from their end as my vacation had started to ruined now from this date onwards. My complete family and kids had planned to go together during these 3 days but this could not be happened because of these guys false commitments.
3. Then after lots of escalation via emails and talking with Yatra team, they committed me that I will get 2 Innova cars from Delhi to Chandigarh and AC tempo traveler from Chandigarh to Shimla by saying that this is a matter of 4-5 hours and kids have to compromise for these 4-5 hours only and once we reached to Chandigarh we will get AC tempo traveler.
4. One day before starting my trip on 13th Apr'22, was completely engaged with them by doing multiple follows ups and escalations via n' numbers of emails. And they confirmed me one mobile number to talk to get my vehicles. When I dialed that number, I found that this was the owner of another sub-contractor 'tour and taxi travels'. Anyways I talked to him asked 2 Innova cars at 6 AM on 14th Apr'22.
5. That tour and travels sent me 1 Ertiga and 1 Desire car at 8 AM and the worst part of it that both cars had CNG cylinder in their boot. So there was no space for our luggage. This was the 2nd and 3rd surprise from Yatra.Com end (wrong commitment of 2 Innova cars again with no space of luggage).
6. Somehow, we compromised again and started our journey to Chandigarh via these for the sake of cars by adjusting our luggage inside.
7. When we reached Chandigarh they gave us AC Tempo Traveler for Shimla 'To & Fro'. Tempo was in worst condition and AC was not working properly (complete KHATARAA) and icing on cake was driver. He was fully unprofessional, money greedy person. He asked us parking money almost everywhere and his dinner amount as well. While, all was inclusive in our tour package as I mentioned above tour itinerary. This driver has a very basic mobile and did not know how to use google maps. Entire road, we were guiding him that here to move now there to move now. So, this was the 4th Surprise from Yatra.Com.
8. Somehow, we reached at 9:30 PM at Shimla via tempo. Our whole day passed into trip only. So, finally on 14th Apr'22 we did nothing except travel struggle.
9. On 15th Apr, we saw Adventure Resorts (New Kufri) and Zoo on the name of sightseeing.
10. On 16th Apr at 9:30 AM we left Shimla and move towards Chandigarh and in middle we cover Pinjore Garden as well. At, 1:30 PM we had reached to our Chandigarh Hotel and that driver left us by saying his company with us was till this point only. This was the 6th Surprise from Yatra.Com.
11. Then 2 PM onwards, I started to call our On-tour responsible, we got surprised that he had no clue about our tour itinerary and status at all. Then I explain all things to him and again begged him to send cars for Chandigarh sightseeing. He sent another tempo at 6:30 PM and biggest thing to know that by 7:00 PM all Chandigarh starts to get closed. So, we cover boating at Sukhna lake for 45 mins and post that driver dropped us Sector-17 Market. That was all on the name of sightseeing in Chandigarh.
12. Anyways that day also passed and on our last day 17th Apr'22 again I begged to send cars from our drop at Delhi. However, I had already conveyed our plan 1 day before to our On-Tour personal that we have to leave Chandigarh at 8 AM at any cost and asked to send 2 Innova cars as per our compromised deal. But, he sent again 1 Ertiga and 1 Desire at 11:30 AM. So, this was the 7th surprise from Yatra.Com.
13. Anyways, we compromised again and started our journey to home. But again one of our driver stopped one of our car at Mannat Dhaba by saying he is not paid hence he will not go further until he gets his full payment. Then again we struggled with lots of calls to tour & travels agent and our On-Tour agent and sort it out this matter. So, this was the 8th surprise from Yatra. Com
My Verdict about Yatra.Com:
1. Truly unprofessional, casual and adamant staff.
2. Expert in false commitments and lying at almost every step. Infact they will easily backoff with their words by giving everything in written.
3. Sales people (Summit Gujjar and Ak$#*!a Borkar) will never pick your call post payment and completely fraud.
4. Operations team (Sukanto Mukherjee and Kapil Sabharwal) biggest liar and fraud.
5. On-Tour Coordinator (Sahil Rana) also in same bucket. He has no awareness about people vacations, itineraries and tour details. NO coordination at all.
6. The biggest nightmare, Yatra.Com has no single number to call back for their customers. They people can call you anytime but you have no number to call back them except one single Email-ID. So, whole time you will pass your precious time to write emails to them. And whenever Yatra staff will call you they will expect your answers almost immediately.
7. During vacation, your half of time will go in coordination only. As post payment they will leave you on-ground to play alone. Now, you have to coordinate and arrange everything. They will just take your hard earned money and will make you pee. And will make sure that you begged everything from them and hence I used begged word multiple times in my feedback writing.
My Final words to Yatra.Com People: I mentioned 5 names in my verdict above i. E.; Summit Gujjar, Ak$#*!a Borkar, Sukanto Mukherjee, Kapil Sabharwal and Sahil Rana. Since, I cannot do anything to these people as there is no door to catch them but GOD is looking everything. As you did worst with me and my family, you will also get the reward from him one day with your family. This is my curse to you all 5 persons that you will never get success in your life and entire life will spend as nomadic. Soon you all 5 will lose your jobs and GOD will make you beggar very soon.
A group of 14 seniors in age range 55 to 84 consisting of 6 ladies 8 gents booked to travel to BHUTAN from 27 th May 2019 till 2nd june on a 6N /7D trip from Gurgaon in India. Initially we were shown choices of reasonably good hotels in 3 cities beginning with THIMPU on wards to PUNAKHA & PARO. In each city we were to spend 2 N in 3 star hotels. Each hotel suggested by Yatra.com had satisfactory Trip Advisor ratings varying from 3.5 to 4.5.We agreed & paid on schedule. However during period of payments schedule Yatra.com kept suggesting different hotels but with reasonable TA ratings.We agreed trusting a large company with experience in travel business to take care of clients, in senior age group. THAT WAS OUR BIGGEST MISTAKE & we did not check reviews of Yatra, com
Till 1 night before departure Yatra failed to furnish a confirmed hotel bookings in any of 3 cities.On reaching Paro airport we were met with a local english speaking guide who told us that we were booked in Hotel Lhayul & bus took us there.Our trip to Thimpu was fine except that we were told that hotels in Punakha & Paro were not yet confirmed.
We were also told by local vendor a lady named named JYOTI that she has been given our assignment only 3 days ago as YATRA had cancelled arrangements with regular vendor. She also specifically mentioned that she has not been paid any advance though we had fully paid Yatra. She also mentioned that she has borrowed money from her father to take care of our travels.We were shocked to hear her sob story but were helpless in a foreign country. After a comfortable stay in Thimpu & while driving to Punakha all hell broke as not knowing where we were booked.
During the drive to Punakha our local guide was continuously in touch with JYOTI who kept promising to find a good hotel in Punakha. Finally we checked into a new 2 star hotel named SONADAEM ZINGKHA in a rundown neighbourhood.The hotel rooms did not have any almirah etc moreover it was only for 1 night
We had to check out again next morning & were supposed to go for sight seeing but our group decided to go & check into a hotel as the lady kept promising to find a better hotel suitable for seniors but we were absolutely disappointed & disgusted by the careless, unprofessional attitude of Yatra.com. Finally she found a hotel on top of a hotel where we checked in but the group was already tired & FED up that we decided not to go anywhere else
On checkout & travelling to Paro not knowing the hotel booked for us we were told to kill time in town as local vendor was still searching for rooms. All the time she kept promising to find better hotels & upgrading us at her own cost. She kept on repeating that Yatra has given her our assignment only 3 days ago
She finally found a hotel, the owner has decided to call itself a boutique hotel without understanding definition of boutique. Even Yatra. Com does not understand basic quality of such a hotel. This particular hotel is in a market in a congested lane similar to Paharganj in Delhi. View from most rooms was that of hanging clothes of servants of other hotels. Sad to tell in such details about Yatra & all along the local lady kept saying she is worried about her payments from Yatra
We were made to checkout again next day & taken to another hotel in Paro & all the time local lady kept requesting to bear with patience.
Summarising we were made to stay in 5 hotels instead of 3 as agreed. Wasted 3-4 hours in check out/check in, packing & unpacking every day after Thimpu.The lady & yatra thinks that they have obliged us but the sad fact is we had NO CHOICE in a foreign country & decided to behave well with local vendor but the group of senior citizens have decided not to EVER recommend Yatra. Com to anyone.
We are a group of highly educated, well travelled people & yatra letting us down will not serve them well.

Yatra Booking #YH*******. When booked for Sikkim trip they sent for all 3 hotels and charged me 1, 35, 500 for 5 people for 8N/9D. In this 4 hotels in 4 different places including 2D/2N in DarjelingBut all the hotels in Sikkim are simple non-star hotels(like OYO normal hotels in Metros and costs around INR 1000). When
I asked the first day to change, they said it is not possible to change
Because the hotels will not refund, hence requested to me to use those
Hotels(continuously I was in touch with Yatra person using
Email/customer service) and will refund the difference. When
I found the the hotel rooms cost is max of INR 2500 per night per
Room(I booked 2 rooms in all 4 hotels) not INR 6000 per room per night
For 6N/7D stay 3 hotels and the 4th Hotel was 3, hence I asked them
To refund the amount of 7000(3500 X 2) per day for 6 Days equal to INR
*******, now they are telling sorry for the inconvenience but we can only
Give you INR 3000 refund and INR 2000 in Yatra wallet. They
Are big cheaters. I am fighting with them legally by complaining to
Police, Legal Notice and as well in National Consumer Forum for this
Cheating and not refunding. Please do not leave these blood

Yatra.com promises when booking something but provide you different cheap version and will not refund you the difference. Be it for Hotels or Vehicles. for Flights they show very high rates. Beware of Yatra.com
