I had a problem with the transaction no fault of XE or mine but because the reciever of the funds gave the wrong. XE dealt with my frustrations, my fear of vanishing funds and my impatience, while I was traveling in Morocco without having very good phone or internet, with a professional attitude and being on top of things at all times. I cannot be more pleased by their professionalism.

I've used the app for several years, as a reference just for currency rates info. Tried my first transfer today to Colombia, bank to bank to a friend. Accepted my usd, and immediately closed my account. This seems to be a pattern with this company. Waiting to see if I get refunded plus my fees charged. I was hoping for a better alternative than Western Union. I've never had an issue with WU.

I sent $1200 US money where they withdraw the money from my account and 20 min later I received and email stating that account was closed for no reason. I will be reporting this company to fraud line in the united states. Avoid headaches such as scam

The company, CONTINENTAL EXCHANGE SOLUTIONS, INC., can be sued for stolen money in small claims court. Simply search your state's corporation's filing and sue them in state court. Remember to seek additional funds for you time in litigating and filing fees.

My money was allegedly transferred on February 15,2024 and it is March 5,2024 and not a single real response to any of my inquiries about the status of my money. I received a generated email indicated that they are "looking into the matter". However, I received nothing. Not even an update.

They took our money. Told us it was being sent. Did NOT send the money, hurting the recipient who needed it. Now tell us it will be up to a week before we get the money back. We opened an account and made four transfers. Two went through. Two we were assured were on their way within hours. The funds are debited from our bank account and unavailable. The next morning wake up to message from very troubled recipient that no funds had arrived. No information over the weekend. Monday, three days later, we receive an email stating only "your amount remains closed." First we heard about the account being closed. Xe still has our money tied up. Talked to them this morning, no explanation, except, too bad, might be another three to four days before the funds are back in our account. No, there is no supervisor or complaint department I could be referred to. Horrible destructive uncaring company. Abysmal service. Avoid at all costs.

XE.com randomly canceled a contract (at their discretion) AFTER they took my money. XE.com can not or will not specify a refund date. They are also not paying me interest on the free loan they are now enjoying. I noticed other reviews on the internet claiming refunds still not processed after 20-30 days. I am filing complaints with relevant government, consumer, and regulatory agencies.

Tip for consumers:
In my experience, information from the company and customer service is often false. If they fail to deliver, it can cause significant financial damages to you. This company is not reliable, and can cause you serious financial harm.

Tried to send USD to my home country for family expenses (Mom and Dad are aging). Accepted my transfer, however, a day later, they closed my account closed for no reason, and nothing asked.

0/10 Not recommended.

Just like everyone else here, I applied for a money transfer and after they got all my sensitive info including my SS# I thought I was good to go when I hit the transfer complete. Few days later BOOM account canceled and it would be up to 10 to see my refund back in my bank. I wish I would have did my research about XE!

I had sent money several times through Xe to my wife, who is helping her family in Colombia. Today, I started a transaction. They withdrew money from my bank account, then shut me down 15 minutes later! Supposedly, I will get my money back in as many as 7 days. They said they would not give any explanation, but it is part of their anti money laundering policy, and my information would be kept on file for 6 years! Is this some kind of joke?

They closed my account for no reason. I have made a transfer to my brother in law and they canceled the transaction, when I called they told me that the reception's bank canceled the transfer. I tried again today to send money directly to my sister and 5 minutes later after they took the money from my account I got an email saying that my account has been closed. Hopefully I do not get flagged with other companies. I truly believe that this is the worst financial firm out there.

I inititiated a big transfer on 14th and transferred the money immediately. My transaction got cancelled and I was told they refunded my money on 15th. Talked to my bank and they confirmed no refund was done. My bank asked for ARN so that they may trace the money and XE has not sent the info despite numerous reminders. It shows clearly they are telling lies and have not refunded my money back. It has been almost a week and still nothing. I will never use XE again.

XE shows you and exchange rate thats attactive but simply takes your funds without sending the transfer.
Did eight transfers, problems with three of them No refund on the lat

I sent about 4 or 5 international xfers using debit card as it seemed the fastest method. Then when I sent about $xxx.xx the 5th time to help pay for overseas medical expenses, I notice that I received an email that my account was closed with absolutely no reason given on the same day as the transfer. That any pending funds in my account would be refunded within about 7 days. When I logged into my account, a popup stated "Unable to send money". The CSR in their chat support stated, my account is not closed and my issue will be elevated. Which source is more credible: An unrecorded chat response from an unknown CSR or an official email from Xe? Both sources contradicted each other.
Later in the day, when I attempted to login to the XE portal, it logged me right out as if my account had been restricted for logins. Now I don't even have access to the site nor any of my transactions. Hopefully I will get my refund within the stated period, but I am not too confident when I read other reviews. Caveat Emptor! Stay tuned, this is not over yet as my refund has not be completed. Going back to Wise. BTW, my bank debit transaction describes this transaction as "clothing", which I did not enter.

Do a total a complete review from multiple sources. I only used one source. My mistake!

Made my first transfer and few minutes after, I received a message stating they closed my account and no reason provided. That was weird! Stay away from this company. They don't deserve even a single star. There are many other money transfer options and will be happy to deal with a company that respects its customers

They have fraud hidden fees. Customer service sucks.
They will do nothing and tell you that you should have read all information in the Info library.
Don't use them. This is a fraud company. Stole my money.

*Final update* After 43 business days and 4 business days after FBI cybercrime report I finally got my money back.
I regularly used Xe.com each month but the transfer made on May 26th still has not arrived as of today June 15th. The positive articles reviewing the company are all sponsored. Actual customer reviews from April 2023 until now are far less positive. Customer service answers the phone but says "tracing the funds takes time and there is no way to give an estimate of how long it will take."

Tip for consumers:
Buyer beware with this company!! If the financial markets have volatility your money might disappear.

XE collects data and close the account. They dont even provide reason. Not sure why they put up shop of transfer looks like they collect data and sell it to marketing companies. Downside is I authenticated with my bank account etc and good part is when I was trying to transfer app didnt support saying call CS. I wouldnt recommend this to any one going forward and discourage people from transacting with these fraudulent businesses. Beware!

After spending over an hour going through their tedious account opening and transfer process, they closed my account with no explanation. There is no means of contacting the company except a totally useless customer service e-mail which only issues a standard response

You cannot rely on this company, the service is terrible

I am in a foreign country trying to get money transferred to pay a bill. Xe.com has wasted my time.

I sent a wire transfer using xe. A week later they email me saying that my account has been closed without any explanation and that any money transfer I have made will be refunded. Going on two weeks now and I still have not received my money or an explanation as to why my account was closed. I'm starting to think this is a scam and I'm about to report them to the BBB as well as Federal authorities.I would not recommend using this company if you value your money.

I used Xe for 7 transactions and was very pleased. But for no reason, they canceled my account. I spoke with them on the phone and via email and was assured they fixed the problem. Nope, they didn't - my account remained closed. After asking them a 4th time to resolve the issue, they sent an email saying they were unable to assist me any further and my account would remain closed. I switched to another online money transfer service and haven't had any problems.

The app works fine until Xe cancels your account for no reason.

My business had used XE in the past to pay suppliers in Europe. Recently, our account was put on hold for what they say was inactivity. I have called 5 times over the past two weeks to no avail. XE has the absolute worst customer service, avoid at all cost. How this company stays in business is beyond me.

I tried to send money to my husband who is building a house in our country in west Africa with difficulty. They blocked the money for almost 2 weeks. They get easily suspicious thinking I'm laundry money.
They ask a lot of questions which is fine but when I've answered them and show proof of all of my accounts, they decided suddenly to close my account without providing any reason.
Impossible to talk to one of the supervisors.

This company should be banned from doing any business in the country as they are useless and cannot do anything.
It has been over 8 days since I transferred the funds and there is no sign of where it is gone and they bunch of lunatics are not able to help and cannot even speak English which is a real big shame.
I highly recommend others not to use this RUBBISH company else you will lose your funds and report a fraud case against them.

Seriously garbage service. Customer service seems ok but they just talk you down to get you off the phone and don't do anything to solve the problem. I was trying to send 300k USD to BRL but they were never able to complete the transaction after about 3 months of trying. I tried this service because the rate seemed good and they promised it would be faster than the bank. I went to Wells Fargo after this horrible experience and got my money where it needed to be within 7 business days.

The site asked for my additional credentials to 'Verify' my linked account. The requested information was sent including copies of passport and bank accounts. After four phone calls over three days, the customer service finally declared the account verified.
Received the email: "ACH Direct Debit Bank Account Verified"
Nonetheless, just five minutes later an email followed: "Your Xe account has been closed. We will not be able to provide any further information as to the reason why.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
Complete waste of time. I suspect even if they are legitimate or a front to collect personal information.
